Rude, Picky and Horrible Items 4/11/2011

When this store opened right down from my Mom's home I thought this would be a great outlet to get my kid's clothes and sell the items I did not need anymore. Upon first inspection the clothes were stained, musty or if the clothes were in good condition they were way over priced. I can go to the clearance section at Target and get a much better deal for brand new! The toys are really nothing to excited about. Kids play with them while parent's shop. They get broken, goobered on and just not worth the stop for toys. Everything used here is used and not a good deal. more

Dont' waste your time. Very Dirty 3/29/2011

I have gone in there several times in the past both to sell and buy. It had been a while since I had been there so I stopped to look for some stuff for my daughter, I was very shocked how dirty the items they were trying to sell were. I found a cute pair of pants but they had a big tear in the front, many items with stains. They had toys with color crayon scribbled all over them, and child seat that was so dirty I could not put my child in it. The ""manager"" was unsure of any question asked and seemed bothered when I asked a price on a item that was not marked.. They had a large selection of clothes but you really had to dig thru to find something descent. This needs new managment to come in and clean it back up. What i saw was not gently used as they say. I found it a BIG waste of my time. I found much better and cleaner items at the new Goodwill down the street. they had many itemsthat a few years ago would have NEVER been accepted unless they were cleaned off first! more

Not good shopping experiences :( 10/10/2010

While I like the idea of buying used but still in good shape clothes for my kids, I've had two very negative experiences on two separate occasion, years apart. Most recently, I was shopping for a Halloween costume for my daughter. I found a Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) costume and knew she would love it. I couldn't get it that day, but the next day I called (on my way out of town) and asked if they still had it. She found it right away and I asked if I could pay for it over the phone using my credit card and I would be in when I got back in town. She wouldn't let me pay that way but said she would hold it til I could get in on Monday morning. I got in as soon as they opened and it mysteriously disappeared. She told me she could remember talking to me on the phone and said she hung it ""right her"" pointing. Well needless to say, no costume and a very disappointed daughter. The first time I was looking for a double stroller after my second baby was born. I went in @ 7:30 on a weekday night (they close at 8:00) As I walked into the store, the sales associates told me the computers were down so they weren't able to do any transactions. I spotted a double stroller I liked and asked if they could do a transaction without the computer (the old fashioned way) and was told they didn't have one of those slider things. So I asked if they would hold the stroller for me until the next morning, she said she would since it was the stores problem with the computers and wrote a note to the manager and also put my name and phone number on it. I went in the next morning, and asked for the stroller, and was told ""it was put back out on the floor, as we don't hold merchandise"" I told the manager it was their computers that were down and that was why it wasn't purchased the previous night. ""It doesn't matter, we don't hold merchandise."" Wow! What a way to keep your customers happy. Not how I'd run a business. I just want to say the young girl a night was helpful, writing the note, taking my name and number but WTF is wrong with the day time staff here??? Can't they read? So much for customer service. more
