Editorial review from Citysearch 9/12/2012

Once upon a child in Monroeville is a joke. First, they seem to only market to the white crowd. I took in 250 items and they only bought 11 for $13.00. I had brand new Nike Shocks, and a few pair of Jordans & Timberlands (all Girls) size 8 toddler and they didn't even buy those! I also had Roca wear, Black Label, Derron and other name brands and some were not name brand but the ones I took to sell, were ALL in mint condition! Alot of the clothes on the racks are so ragidy looking and I couldn't believe that they would even try to get money for them! I would love to find out their reasoning for not buying certain clothing? Yet, if i walked in with a worn down pair of Childrens Place jeans, they would buy them! lol but not the brand new Roca Wear outfit. They really need to start broadening there horizon and start buying different styles and name brands because white middle class people are not the only ones that want to save money! And for the record, I'm white and like me their are alot of YOUNG mothers who would jump at the chance to be able to buy their kids names brands like Roca,Wear or Timberlands at flee market prices! Once upon a child in Monroeville has no idea the amount of money they could bring in just by changing it up a little! more

Not a place to sell clothes 10/7/2010

I have been selling clothes to this store for 6-8 years. Every time we go in to this store the experience gets worse and worse. The staff is sooo not friendly. They act like they are doing us a favor and we have never been treated like a customer should. Every time we go in there the rules change, etc.. We are getting less and less money while they sell them for nice prices. My husband and I will never go in there again! We already have numerous friends and family that have decided that that store is NOT worth dealing with. Maybe a little competition will do that store some good. Horribly run business...... more

i took a lot of clothing to the monroville store some brand new with tags some not brand new but were in perfect shape!!! they took 2 items for 1.50 and that was it out of about 100 items!!!!!!! they do not pay good and are very picky at this store i took all of the stuff they did not buy to the one in wexford and they bought all pieces except for like a handful of items so they took about 80 pieces and gave me 40 dollars now thats a good place to go the monroville one is not good at!!!!! if your planning to sell go to wexford!!! and as far as the clothes on the racks well.....wexfords is good clothing but monroville is to high of prices way over priced and not worth it you could buy new for there prices!!!! when they have there 50% clearences thats the only good deal for used clothing that they have Pros: hmmmm Cons: not worth selling to more
