Once Upon A Child

This store is absolutley great!!! I find everything I need at such great prices. And if they don't have something your looking for they'll even put you on their Wish List and call you when that paticular item comes in!!! Amazing staff, Super location, Great prices what more can you ask for!!! more

I just love the Once Upon A Child in Stow!!! I used to go to the Growing Years and it never failed that I would always walk out with with nothing. As I spoke with some of the mom's around my neighborhood about how disappointed I was with the Growing Years they told me about Once Upon A Child! I was so happy when I walked in and saw all of the stuff they had!!! I found tons of clothes for my daughter and lots of toy and equipment at such great prices!!! Never again will I go to that other store!! Once Upon A Child is GREAT!!!!! more

I am admittedly extremely picky about what I dress my kids in. This particular Once Upon a Child location is just ok in my book. Though they do have some good regular consigners in my daughter's size, the store usually really overprices their name brands. In addition, they do take a lot of filler items - from WalMart, Target, etc. The toddler boy selection is very poor, and the name brand items are extremely few and far between. They hardly ever have any jammies in my kids' sizes (4t and 2t). As a whole, occasionally you can find some nice pieces there for a good price, but there are far better kids' resale shops in the area. more

Once Upon a Child is a wonderful place to shop for clothing for babies and young kids--nearly everything is gently used, so the prices are great. You get high-quality clothing for prices that aren't that much higher than some garage sale prices, which is really nice. Also, you can bring in your gently used clothing for kids and the store may purchase them from you or give you store credit. There are also lots of toys and other merchandise at Once Upon a Child. Depending upon what has been traded in at that time by other customers, you may find cribs or Exersaucers or Little Tykes play toys or Step 2 ride-on toys. You may also find things like potty chairs, baby carriers, wagons, books, videos, and more. Everything is priced quite reasonably, and everything works as it should--you can test electronic items at the counter before purchasing. I love to shop here for my kids because I don't have to spend a lot to get a good quantity of clothes and merchandise for them, but I know I am getting good quality. more
