Olivet Nazarene University

Olivet offers an excellent Christian education with lots of different majors. I personally majored in Social Work/Psychology and found it to be more challenging than the previous school I attended. My husband obtained his undergraduate degree there and went on to get his Master's Degree in Professional Counseling. Most of the Master's programs are designed to work with a regular 40 hr. work week schedule. The teachers are kind and knowledgeable as well. Since it is a Christian institution, I really like the fact that students are required to go to chapel weekly. It seems like a pain at the time, but in the long run, you find that it keeps you connected to God, especially when your life gets hectic. more

Olivet Nazarene University is one of the top colleges in the area. I personnaly have not attended the college but have been there for many other functions. The grounds are the home of the Chicage Bears for their training camp as well as shine fest, a huge christian rock concert. Ive been to severals meetings and concerts at the church. I know many people who have atteded the college and recieved a quality education as well as godly values. Huge beautiful campus and church. recommend onu for many needs. more

I have been going here for over a year now and I absolutely loooove it! The campus is beautiful and the people are out of this world. They are so nice and friendly! It is a bit expensive, but to me it's worth the price! They do have a really good financial aid package and the admissions people really work with you to help out! I really like my profs and the fact that they are Christian (mostly) and have high morals makes it so much better than any other schools. They really care about you and pray for you and they do more than teach. A lot of them also give advise about life in general. This place is so awesome, but it's not for everyone. If you hate rules and aren't very people friendly, this isn't the place for you! But if you do come, I am sure it will win you over if you give it a chance. more
