It's best to go here when there is a $4 coupon in the coupon section of the paper or go when they have the all you can eat pasta special. You get unlimited salad and breadstix with every meal, and you can basically make that a meal in itself and take the mail course home! more

Always a good meal here. The never ending salad is a favorite with our family. Look at the specials for a nice variety but don't forget to enjoy the old favorites. Be careful for long lines on weekends. more

Nothing beats the olive garden when it comes to delicious italian food. The price is always right, there is unlimited soup and breadsticks, and there is always a wide variaty of delicious cusine to try out more

The Best Meals With Fast Service 9/27/2005

We have at at this Olive Garden many of times over the years and they have great food, very clean, with great service. We have very happy each visit. They are also great with birthdays and special ocassions, and add a very special touch with a cake and a full singing celebrations upon request. Lots of fun, and caring people. PROS: Very clean, great service, and one of the best places to eat in the area. CONS: We have never had any problems. more

Great Meals at Reasonable Prices 6/7/2005

Olive Garden is a great place to go for a special dinner or a casual lunch. There's usually about a 20-30 minute wait on weekend evenings, but for the great food, in a somewhat upscale setting - at a reasonable price, it's worth the wait! This location also has a bar, and Barnes and Noble's is close by if you need something to occupy yourself while you wait! more

In a city with strong ethnic heritage, I find it pathetic that the top Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh is Olive Garden. For anyone who has eaten Nona's homemade sauce, the Olive Garden is FAR worse than second-rate. While I don't object to Olive Garden for what it is, I find it hard to believe that it provides the best Italian food in the 'Burgh! more

Never in my life would I have imagined that I would love a restaurant because of a salad, but Olive Garden salads are just the most incredible works of mastery that I have ever indulged in before. It is just amazing and perfect, and the breadsticks are magnificient... oh there is other food too if you want it, but my vote is on the salad and the breadsticks! hehe more

Olive Garden#1 in Pittsburgh...Laughable 10/11/2002

I think it is an absolute disgrace that the Olive Garden has been rated the number one Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh. After seeing that I dismissed the entire list. Primadonna offers a superb dining experience and it is an insult to it's excellence to see it mentioned with the Olive Garden. The fact that PaPa J's in Carnegie isen't on this list is baffling. The atmosphere is wonderful, the service is top notch, and the food is some of the best in the city. I can't say enough good about Primadonna either. The service is fantastic and the food is unbelievable. To see the Olive Garden rated number one leads me to believe too many people are unaware of the dining experience offered at PaPa J's and Primadonna. more
