Very big church! 11/19/2005

The church is huge and makes it hard to find your way around. I visited there and never did find the Sunday School room. The people seem friendly but don't know if you're a visitor or not so don't seem to be as helpful as you'd like. We do know a lot of wonderful families who go to church there who love it. It is a gorgeous church, decorated beautifully. They have a great sound system so that no matter where you are located in the large auditorium you can hear really good. more

HUGE Church 11/12/2005

This church is huge. We felt lost and unnoticed in it. I didn't feel very welcome and it was hard to find anyone to direct us where we needed to go. Noone greeted us at the door and noone approached us or felt compelled to ask if we were visitors. Perhaps there are so many people there that they didn't know if we were visitors or members? I like the smaller homier feeling of a church that knows you. Not a large church where you can slip through the cracks. more

  • Get to Know is your next step here at Old North. It s an opportunity to get to know the church, get to know some people, and get to know the gospel. The team runs every other month at 9:30 a.m. If you re new to our church, GTK is an ideal way to meet people and find out what our church is about. In a relaxed small group setting you ll get to know the core biblical beliefs that drive us, the various ministries, and how you can be involved. Theology is not a dry, dogmatic system of religious thought. It is a conversation about God, the synergy of right belief and right practice. The following is a brief outline of our church s core beliefs.. We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 9:30am and 11am. We look forward to seeing you! Our Sunday gatherings are built around our core values of biblical preaching,intentional discipleship,and healthy families. Sunday mornings are about worship,community,encouragement,teaching,and disciple-making in every venue. There s always a safe place for your kids and students to learn,laugh,and grow.
