i Just moved to the area and was looking for a place to have my facials done at. When I walked in I was surprised that they did just about everything from face to laser to hair design. I was also extremely happy with the service. I am a client for life. more

I made an appointment for a basic facial. I hadn't had one in sometime and was in need of one. When I got to the spa i was greeted very nicely. I had been to the spa before but it had been several months and it seemed to be a little different. I found out later that it had new owners. After I meet the therapist who would be giving me my facial, she took me to the room and she let me know that I could receive a Microdermabrasion facial for the price of a New Life Marie facial if I also got a Pedicure. I definitely needed one of those. The price was awesome. I said go for it. The facial was the best I ever had. The Pedicure was a hour and so relaxing. While I was getting the pedicure the new owner came to introduce herself. She was so nice and I felt so welcome. I would definitely say they have made some awesome improvements.. I reserved an entire day of appointments at Ofra Spa and I couldn't be happier. I had a french pedicure, deep tissue massage, chemical peel and microdermabrasion facial, and several other treatments. There is a delicious sushi restaurant nearby and I was able to order in the morning and they brought in my roll and tea in between treatments. They use top of the line products and every member of their staff is professional and courteous. The massage was given with just the right pressure and technique. The pedicure lasted for over a month, and I saw great results from the facial immediately. Ofra herself was my aesthetician for the facial and made every effort to ensure that I was taken care of. My experience at Ofra's has always been pleasent. I recieved a facial by Ofra a year ago and i have had bad acne since my early teens. I had tried nearly every type of acne product from clearasil to pro-active, the only thing that has cleared it up and kept it clear now for a year is their vitamin c cleanser. That cleanser is seriously magic, and now i go there to get my haircut. Each time im there i feel relaxed and welcome there by their caring staff. Ofra didnt try shoving products down my throat to just get my money, she genuinly cared about my needs and what products my skin could use to benefit ME. I read the 2 reviews below mine and I cannot believe they were at the same spa as me. I have never had a bad experience there, so dont listen to these comments who were probably written by competitors trying to degrade this spa. My mother originally bought me that facial as a gift, after seeing how much i struggled with my acne but i am very happy to have found this place, to know that i never have to deal with my acne cause of her products. more

I am also wondering how this place got these good reviews. The facial was not bad but not great either. but MY GOD the owner ofra is one of those people who appear to be nice but is truly cunning. DO NOT buy any kind of packages from her, after she has your money she will not care about you as a customer. Her main goal is profit. Oh by the way, her products are highly overpriced and small in quantity and they do not work well. With that price you can something better from the mall. I am never going back to this. I am sorry, I don't know where these reviews are coming from, maybe the store owner's family members or something come here to write them. I went to this place after reading the reviews here. But i had a HORRIBLE experience at the salon. Yeah, they seem nice at first, but once you pay for their packages they don't give a sh*t about u as a customer. The store owner, Ofra, is a a very shady lady, she just cares about making money. IF you want real laser hair removal go to a well known reputable place. Take me advice or else you'll regret it. And as for other salon services, the technicians are horrible!! the people who does the eye brows totally do not know what they are doing. Their manicure and pedicure isn't anything more spectacular or something to rave out. The only plus they have is that their place is pretty clean, but thats it. So save yoru money and find a better place if you want good service. I recently moved to south florida and decided to get my underarms lasered because I figured that the convenience of little or no hair would be worth it. Before I moved I actually used to work as a dermatology MA, at an office where we did laser work, so I knew quite a bit about the procedure before ever getting a single treatment. I searched local day spas and laser centers and found a great deal with OFRA. I am currently 8 sessions into it and have had a great experience thus far. The staff is always polite, professional and accomodating. The first few treatments are actually quite comfortable but when you get to your 6th or 7th treatment you become a little more sensitized to the laser and there is a small amount of discomfort (but nothing that a single tylenol can't handle). This is normal for any laser treatment so it has nothing to do with the technician, who does a great job at making you comfortable, or the type of laser that they use. At 2-3 of the appointments I have walked away with a little redness (it is a laser, remember??) but it always goes away after 30 minutes. I have never experienced a burn or anything like that. So far it has been exactly what I expected, and in addition, with great service and staff to boot! I started going to Ofra Day Spa 3 years ago. After receiving the New Life Marine facial and Microderm abrasion treatments from Teri, my skin looked younger and felt healthier. My friends began complementing my skin and they too started going to Ofra Spa. I purchased the vitamin C serum and the exfoliating cream and felt the difference, immediately. I have also had massages by Caroline that made me feel relaxed and rejuvenated. The Spa is exceptionally clean and the staff is professional and knowledgeable. Recently, my wife gave me a treat ---something I would have never done for myself......she gave me a gift certificate to Ofra Day Spa. I had a spa pedicure by Teri and a massage by Caroline. Both therapists answered my questions and made the experience very comfortable for me. Now I will definitely go back on my own as I realize why my wife loves it there!!!! For Valentines Day my fianc? treated me to a massage and facial at Ofra's. I was impressed from the moment I entered Ofra's establishment, the staff was very receptive and courteous. I've never had a massage, or any sort of spa treatment, but the message therapist made my experience very relaxing and enjoyable. I've been seeing OFRA Spa for my legs, bikini and under arms laser hair removal for over a year. I am very pleased with the results. I'm blond with very fair skin color but the results are still amazing! I've NEVER had any kind of pain or even redness. The Tech person increased the laser strength gradually and was very careful while doing this procecure. Of course, it's taking for me a little longer than someone with darker hair but Ofra and Staff have always made me feel Welcome regardless of the number of visits I've made. I recommended them to all my friends and family. I've been to other Spas in Hollywood,FL and Kendall, FL and they (OFRA) are THE BEST People and Place I found! I received a gift certificate for my birthday from my friend for half day treatments which was the most amazing experience. I started with a massage then facial manicure and pedicure. My therapists gave me the best attention and I left feeling like a queen. It was by far better spa then many I visited before. I visited ofra spa in Feb. and I had the best massage. Therapists are professional and know their work. They have different options. Next time I will schedule body dream (on their price list). BEWARE!! I paid a fortune for the Laser Hair Removal. When you sign up, they tell you that there's a lifetime guarentee. Once your sessions are over, they tell you that if you have any more sessions you will have to pay for it. I got laser treamtments there for about a year, and every single time I left with third degree burns (in at least 3 areas). On top of everything, it's been 3 months since my last treatment, and the hair has already grown back. But the $3000 I paid means nothing right now, bc they're trying to charge me even more money bc they didn't do it right the first time. Beware of the owner named Ofra. She is very nice when you first go in....until after she has your money. She is extremely dishonest and actually scirpted out something for the laser technician to tell me so that I do not return for more sessions (even though there is still patches of hair left). The laser techinician delivered the message in an overdramatic, almost comical, bad-acting type way. She made sure that she said it extremely loud. As I sat there wondering why she was all of a sudden talking so loud (she's usually very soft spoken), I looked back to see Ofra listening on the other side of the door with her arm wrapped around the door to keep it slightly open. It was BIZARRE, to say the least. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If you're looking to do Laser Hair Removal, you're better off just going to a professional place that specializes in laser hair removal. I always recieve high standard treatments. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff knows their work. I love the herbal tea collection and i must say they are very helpful and professional. So far I had five laser treatments with brilliant results. My monthly microdermabrasion helps my dark spots as well as their whitening mask that i use at home.
