Northstar Storage delivered a mobile storage unit to my home a few months ago. The Northstar moving guys helped me load my stuff into this portable storage unit (which took them about 15 minuets!!!), and they drove the storage unit to the Northstar warehouse in Chatsworth. Then, when I was ready to move to my new home in Sherman Oaks, I called Northstar again. They delivered the portable storage unit from their Chatsworth warehouse to the drive way of my new home. They told me they can leave the storage unit in front of my home for a few days and I can empty it myself, or they offered to help me empty the unit with the Northstar moving guys again. The choice was simple: of course I asked for the help of the professional movers (which again, loaded everything I had in the mobile storage unit into my garage in less than 15 minuets this time). The whole experience was incredibly convenient, and unbelievably inexpensive. I couldn?t t be happier, it truly was the most convenient storage experience I ever had. Everyone that I dealt with was nice and friendly. It is refreshing to see a company where everyone is so concern about customer service. And as far as the cost: it was just plain cheap! I usually don?t go with the cheapest price, but compared to other companies I had a good feeling about using Northstar. They were just the nicest to deal with on the phone when I was calling around for storage rent prices. So I went with them, even though they had the cheapest storage prices. I wasn?t sorry: my portable storage unit cost me $52.50 per month to store in their warehouse, and it only cost me $50.00 to have it delivered to my house. I know that I saved a lot of money on the rent with them, but and also for the fact I didn?t have to go rent a truck. It was just a good moving and storage experience. I love this company, they are the best storage in Los Angeles! more

I wanted to drop a note to thank NorthStar for the wonderful job they did in moving me. This was the first time I have ever used a moving company and what a pleasant surprise it was. Because of the delay in getting my notifications from our Homeowner's Association regarding the date I was required to move and from the construction company regarding the move back date, I realized that I was rushing them to do everything from estimates to scheduling the move date, out as well as back into my home. When I initially phoned for a quote, I spole to a representative named Aron. He was courteous and knew exactly what he was doing. Due to unforseen circumstances, the move date had to be rescheduled. Again, I called Aron and he confirmed there would be no problem. The day prior to the actual move I received a call from NorthStar to ensure we were on the same schedule. I appreciated the extra care immensely. The day of the move two of NorthStar's men arrived right on time and ready to work. Those two men were fast, polite, professional, and very careful. They never slowed down and took great care with our items. I will definitely recommend NorthStar to any person that finds they need to move. Recently, about 10 days ago on Saturday, my husband Martin and I hired NorthStar to help us move to our new apartment in Valencia. The movers (two men & a truck) were scheduled to arrive at our previous residence at 8:00 a.m. I am pleased to say that they arrived promptly at eight o'clock. Further more, the gentlemen were extremely professional, friendly ad fast. They handled all of our furniture with great care, especially the piano which was my main concern and they even delivered all of my fragile plants with personal care. From the start, they were extremely helpful to me on the telephone and to the finish, they were extremely helpful with our move. It made everything so much easier and my husband and I were greatly relieved that we chose NorthStar over any of the others. The professionalism and friendly customer service that we received from NorthStar was far more important to us than the rates, which were also great. Because of our gratitude in NorthStar and its service, I am referring them to someone who is in need of a mover, and in the future, I will continue to refer NorthStar as well as choose them again when it is time for us to move. It is with great pleasure that I write this review regarding NorthStar's assistance on our recent move. Although short in distance, our moving requirements were, I am sure, as demanding as they get. Heavy furniture, challenging portals, hoisting, boosting, passing, and packaging: Northstar's crew did it all. Our belongings were delivered, as promised, in the condition they left. And, to top it off, NorthStar accomplished this feat with minimal direction, on time and on budge, while I was stuck at work all day and my wife juggled our young daughter's schedule as well as all of the last minute packing. I want to thank Northstar's crew for all of their help. I would also like to mention that Sam, our estimator was meticulous and accurate. Accuracy can only be measured with comparable estimates, which we obtained, and we felt confident the quoted price was fair. My wife would also like to me to mention Ram, who coordinated the move, and in her words, was "impressive." I know everyone's move is different. NorthStar movers were very conscientious in doing the best job possible. They took extra care in loading all the fragile items. They were very pleasant and polite. Most of all we were impressed with the super job they did in arranging our furniture by working off our floor plan. Since we were so exhausted and could not follow them to our new home in Palm Desert, we trusted them by giving them the keys to the house and allowed them to unload the furniture without our being present. It was late in the evening when they arrived and I'm sure they, too, were exhausted but despite that our beds were put together, furniture in place, boxes in garage arranged in an orderly manner. I have recommended NorthStar to some friends and I will continue doing so. When we first met they assured me we would be happy with their service and they were right!!!!!!!!!! On July 8th, we moved from Calabasas to Phillips Ranch with the help of your company. We are writing to express to you how extremely satisfied we were with the moving services. The three members of your company who helped us move (Yaron, Elias, and Barak) were very skilled and professional from the moment they arrived until they left us at our new home. Yaron explained everything to us at each step, and answered any questions we had. They wrapped all delicate items carefully, and loaded the truck in a well-planned manner that minimized any chances of breaking. They worked quickly, and ended up taking less time for the move than we had anticipated. They were also very pleasant and friendly despite an extremely hot day. We also felt that the charges for the move were very reasonable. Since, as I mentioned, the group worked very quickly, we actually ended up paying less than expected. I want to commend you for the fantastic service NorthStar provided for my two-step move last Sunday. Shai, Benjamin and Giovanni arrived right at 8AM ? they were professional, punctual and hard working. They moved me from San Pedro, picked up our other load in Mission Viejo and dropped everything off at two public storage units in an amazingly short period of time. My friend was so impressed she immediately signed on to have them ship her piano to Arizona ? all of which Shai arrange via phone while continuing to unload our goods at public storage. We just found out the piano was already in Arizona yesterday! I was fully prepared for the one more bad moving experience of being stood-up, overcharged and broken items, but my/our experience was exactly the opposite. I am definitely using NorthStar for my move to the Dominican Republic and have already started recommending NorthStar to everyone.
