I bought a women's reflective jacket. Nice style, however the quality was less than acceptable...especially for the price. I returned the jacket and didn't receive a full refund. I contacted customer service and have not received a full explanation of why I didn't receive a full refund. more

I was shopping for a wind breaker/ water repellent type jacket that breaths. So I went to Dicks sporting goods, and saw Illuminite for the first time ever. Now here is the amazing thing. I bicycle, and I do so in many different environments as I cycle year round. So to find exactly what I was looking for (a wind proof shell that breathes) but also reflective! and Bonus Bicycle cut! I didn't even look at the pricetag, but I remember thinking after buying it that it was less than probably the majority of what is offered on the market that won't breath. And the reflectivity is a huge bonus as I also ride a bunch at night. I liked it so much I returned and bought a casual jacket shell. This works for me because I am the type that builds my layers for climate. Multi-use. I wear my casual shell year round. On the bicycle I don't. I choose to just get wet in the summer time. Need a Nite-gear summer short-sleeve jersey though. I love feeling visible, I love being visible, I love feeling safe, and I love being safe on my bicycle at night. That is priceless, yet Nite-gear offers so much more at no extra cost. Thank you nite-gear!! As for quality! I bought these jackets back in 2006. My regret not buying 2 or 3 of each at the time. although I expect many more years of use out of these 2 jackets that I own. more

I came to Night-Gear for the first time last week to purchase a light for my new recumbent trike, and a headlamp to attach to my bike helmet for early morning rides...in the winter, it's pitch black when I begin my daily ride at 6 a.m.! I opted for the Mi-Newt Mini, and a great little headlamp that weighs next to nothing yet shines incredibly brightly. I was very impressed with the information provided about each product, including the amount of lumens, the weight with and without batteries, and the hours of (expected) operation under high, medium, low settings, and on "flash" mode. The MiNewt light far exceeded my expectations--at 300 lumens, it's practically as bright as a car headlight, lighting the entire road as well as the shoulder (!!), even though it's TINY and extremely light. The battery is rechargeable by AC *OR* USB adaptor (in just 4.5 hours), which is amazingly convenient. I opted to save money by purchasing the "older" model with the attached battery pack (for $30 more, I could have gotten the newer model that has no battery pack), but the inclusion of both a short cord and a longer, 36-inch cord, gives me so many options for placement of the battery pack that I don't see the need to spend that extra money. Attaching the light (and the battery pack) to the bike was extremely simple, as was attaching the headlamp to my helmet. The website offered many useful accessories, such as helmet adaptors (for turning regular bike lights and head lamps into helmet lights for cycling) and flashlight attachments, which can turn a small flashlight into a bike light for riding at night. I also noticed that the website had reflective clothing for running and other safety gear for nighttime activities. I didn't speak to customer service during this purchase, so I can't say how helpful they are, but their website worked smoothly and was easy to navigate. Shipping (Fed Ex) was quick and reliable, and I was happy with the prices I paid for my items. Overall, I will DEFINITELY be shopping here again, and I have already sent several family members and friends to Night-Gear Inc for their own sports-at-night needs. Thanks, Night-Gear! more

Ordered the Nebo CSI LED Flashlight with Laser and a couple extra flashlight holders from Night gear and was very surprised at how fast they were delivered. All items are of good quality and took less than a week to arrive. I highly recommend Night Gear. more

Most of them have been excellent except the disco version of the little light, which worked for a few minutes only and never blinked. Sending it back was too much trouble. The other lights have worked very very well. The blue one lasted a long time and the brighter ones also last quite long. We have to have them on constantly for a dog not quite visible to us and easily tripped over. Would generally recommend. more

I tried to enter a different shipping address than billing address, but the order showed the billing and shipping addresses as the same. There seemed no way to edit the shipping address without cancelling the entire order and starting over, which I did not want to do. It will result in a small inconvenience in receiving the shipment, but I decided to go ahead. more

Despite a little hiccup I had with the Visa payment on line, I was pleased to receive a quick and helpful email from Customer Service.One thing I noticed is the delevery address prompts USA despite the order showing Australia. more

Great fabric. Perfect for the summer cycling and running I have planned. The extra plus is how reflective the material seems. You can be spotted a mile away. And because of that, its a good thing it looks stylish as well. My one concern for other buyers is purchase a size up. I normally wear medium t-shirts, and being 5'10'' and 145 pounds, I would never think of fitting into a large, but it is a must for this singlet if you like breathing. Overall, great product. more

I recently purchased the Brooks Nightlife Equilibrium Top and I love it! I live in Calgary, Canada and it's a perfect base layer in the winter and top layer for early morning summer runs. The top feels like second skin and it wicks moisture away. I will definitely be buying more Brooks clothing from this site. more
