The appear to be extremely nice and accomodation. The loan financing person is a con artist. He added some costs on my bill which I didn't realize were there until I thoroughly reviewed the bill at home. When I went back the next day, he did not want talk to me and threatened to call the cops if I did not leave the establishment. This additional cost increase the total sales price by $6k. When I told him I wanted to return the car for full credit, the manager said "come back in a month and I'll buy the car back from you". This of course meant at the depreciable price. BEWARE when dealing with the finance guy. more

They cheated me big time, adding on charges that were never discussed. They also did not give me the title of the car for 4 months and got cited by the DMV. I had to call dept of consumer affairs and I only got part of the money back. I went to Nemet Nissan just to look around. I didn’t think I buying but wanted to see it was a good time to trade in my 98 sentra. They had a 2006 sentra with low miles and it was in great condition. They told me they’d look at my car and see what I could get for it, and they offered me more than what my friend whose a mechanic told me I could get for it. I ended up getting the new sentra thatday and am so happy with the service I received at Nemet. more

I should have suspected a con game when they advertised the price of a Hyundai at $10,000 below that of other dealers.Fraud began with the receptionist answering the phone,continued with the salesperson who requested $500 for good faith bargaining so they can ship the car new car to the showroom,the finance officer who tacked on hidden fees and worthless insurance coverage,the well orchestrated con game that prevented you to go over the extensive paperwork because you did not want to doubt their honesty.When I reviewed the paperwork at home and discovered that I was conned about $11,000 (I paid about $1000 over that of competitors selling the same car) I went back to Nemet the next business day.After waiting for half a day the finance person I saw was extremely nasty and even suggested that it was my fault for not realizing that I was being the victim of his con.After demanding to see Scott the manager, I realized that the entire Nemet organization were trained by Bernie Madoff and the honest man in the street has no chance of recourse once you are on their premises.I shall be reporting this matter to the BBB and NY State attorney general.STAY AWAY FROM NEMET unless you want to be cheated.Hyundai said that they do not have control over the practices of their dealers.Nemet is worse than the shady used car dealership in a ghetto neighborhood. more

Nemet of Queens is the most dishonest dealer I have ever met. I had a leased 2007 Nissan Murano with three payments left. I went to Nemet Motors and I spoke to salesman Anthony Boucaud. He agreed that Nemet would pay off the last three payments on my Murano if I leased a new Altima Hybrid from them. I agreed and we settled on a payment of $365.00 a month with $3000.00 down payment. I gave my credit card to Anthony and he came back with a receipt for $3250.00. I asked him why the extra $250. and he said that it was for registration. I told him that we had agreed that the $3000.00 down payment would include all fees but he said that they could not change it and I should not worry. I then went in to see the Finance Manager Mr. Elway. He said to me that I should not pay the down payment as I would lose it if the car was stolen. I told Mr. Elway that I would have preferred to lease the vehicle with no down payment but the salesman would not agree to that. Mr. Elway then told me that he would return $2611.12 to me with $738.88 going for the fees and that my payments would go up to $449.88 per month. He destroyed the original paperwork and wrote up a new agreement. I was told that the $2511.12 would be returned to me in about five days, as they could not put in back on the credit card. I did receive it but after ten days. A week later I received an invoice from Nissan for a balance of $1200.00 for the last three payments on the Murano. I called Nissan and told them that Nemet had agreed to pay off this balance, but Nissan did not know about this. I was given the number to Nissan Complaints and I filed Case a complaint. Nemet refused to honor their agreement with me saying that I had nothing in writing. I had a witness with me but they did not care. I now have payments for two cars and Mr.ElWAY is enjoying his Con Game. more
