Never again - untrustworthy 1/17/2012

Took my car in with a fuel problem. Car would bog down like it had a tank of bad gas, sometimes at highway speed, sometimes taking off at stop light. They had already replaced the fuel filter and oxygen sensor to no avail. This time they replaced the fuel pump, said they did something which was needed because of antifreeze mixing with oil, said spark plugs were wrong and replaced them. Gave me a bill for over $1,000 and did not address the problem with the car at all! Service light still comes on, car still stalls and behaves EXACTLY as it did when I brought it in for repair. When I asked to meet with owner, he avoided me until I showed up unexpected and after pretending to be on the phone for 30 minutes, came out yelling ""I'm not giving you any money back! You're not getting any money back! I'm keeping the money!"" Not a word about what is wrong, how can we fix this or any interest at all in taking care of a customer. Guess he needed his Christmas money. I have disputed the charge made before the work was finished and they will not respond to my requests to fix the car. Buyer beware! more

great work and good pricing 4/13/2011

i had been shopping for tires for my truck and got some pricing discount tires quoted me 1200 for new tires i called nelson tire and got the same tires for $941 he said they would have my tires in the morn at 8;30 i got there at nine and left the shop at 10:00 i would recomend these guys very quick service good pricing and i also asked them to check my brakes, as u know most mechanics will lie nelsons told me my brakes were like new and all was good so i can say ill be using these guys for all my trucks needs all u have to waste is ur money and the economy is not so kind so give the guys a chance more

Great customer service 7/10/2010

I've never had particularly good experiences with mechanics. This was an exception. I brought my truck in for brakes and got a quote and had the work done here despite the price being a little higher than I hoped. The staff informed me of other issues I should be aware of but was not pushy about running up the price. The work was done very quickly (under an hour on a Saturday) and came out a little below the quoted price. I'll be going back to them for other work. Pros: friendly staff, not overly pushy more
