This place is a JOKE and nobody should EVER order from them. I ordered a commercial grade pool vacuum. They sent me a lesser grade vacuum, and I believe they think I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. When I told them it was wrong they asked me to send pictures. Really?! Did they think I'm a moron? Seems to be other way around. After I sent the pictures they wrote back that ""someone will get back to me."" I'm still waiting....DO NOT order from them unless you want a mountain of frustration or enjoy sitting around waiting, and waiting, and waiting..... more

Do not use these people!!!! 1/18/2012

Jim at National Pool Wholesalers lied about a product I bought and when I received it did not fit. They refused to do anything about it. After going back and forth for months they refused to give me my money back or take the product back. Several months later I received a phone call from a collections company saying I owed an additional 900 dollars after they had already been paid. They fraudulently submitted a receipt to a collections company to harass me. Incredible!!! DO NOT USE THEM!! more

Customer service is a JOKE!!! 11/16/2011

November 15,2011 I ordered a 21 inch round mesh pool cover. It arrived about 3 days later, which was GREAT. The cover is fine but the line is about 2 feet short of reaching around the pool. I called customer service which sent me to the internet. After HAVING to take the time to become a member, when I entered my invoice # it says it's not the right #. It IS the # they gave me! All I wanted was the correct line that's long enough to go ALL the way around the pool. It such a simple mistake for them to remedy, but I can't even reach them. Until they do, I will take my business elsewhere. more

Can't Speak for Everyone, but our experience was awesome! 9/13/2011

I ordered a pump and filter from this company in June 2010 because they had the best price by far. After I had already placed my order, I read horrible reviews and thought for sure that I had entered a scam. I was literally sick to my stomach thinking I would never see that $400 again. I called customer service and they were very polite, gave me a tracking number for my order, and sure enough, it was here exactly when it was supposed to be. It didn't even take a week. I swore I was going to leave them a positive review just for it being such a pleasant transaction and then I totally forgot about it. Recently our pump began making funny noises, like it's trying to hard or something. My husband was sure that the bearings (sp?) had gone bad. My husband called National Pool Wholesalers told them what was going on. He had no order number, no receipt, nothing. I mean, we bought the pump and filter from them over a year ago. The customer service guy looked up the order number and receipt for him. On top of that, he replaced the entire pump at no charge! He didn't even require my husband to pay to send the old pump back! All my husband had to do was get the stickers off of it so they knew which pump to replace. Absolutely top-notch customer service. Totally exceeded our expectations! I can't speak for everyone else, obviously others have had a bad experience just from reading reviews. But generally, you only hear the negative and not the positive. This is probably why I never left the positive review after the first great experience. But after the customer service we received and the replacement pump, I'm making it a point to take the time and say that we were more than pleased with our purchase and the company itself. Very impressed! Will definitely be buying from again! more

The Worst 7/11/2011

Ordered a 12 x 18 oval pool which they could not provide, they charged $3200.00 which they have still not refunded, I keep calling and they pass you off to anther person who promises the refund the next day but it never happens, I have had to contact visa that this is a fraudulent sale, Avoid at all costs It has now been 3 weeks and still no refund, I since then got a perfectly good pool $500 cheaper from another company, I keep calling customer service just to get information for visa, National Pool are disgusting frauds more

Worst customer service. They play with your money 6/12/2011

I wish I had read the reviews before buying from National Pool Wholesalers. They are the WORST ever!!!!!!!!!! Bought a indoor sauna from them, they said the product was in stock, charged my credicard and them after a week they contacted me by e-mail and said the product was out of stock and tried to sell me a equivalent but more expensive item. I refused to buy the other item and them they cancell my order but keept my money! I finally got to talk to them and they said the order was cancelled and my money will be refunded to me.Its been 2 weeks and I still didn't receive the refund. I check everyday their web site and the product still showing in stock. It is a trick to make you buy with the expectations that you will have your order delivery and in the mean time they play with your money! Most of the store just charge your card when your order is shipped, but not them. I will not buy from them again and do not recomend the store. more

BEWARE of National Pool Wholesalers 6/7/2011

I agree national pool wholesales is the WORSt !!! I bought a 52 in pool they gave me a liner that only measures 46 in !!! How is that to fit !!! I have enought sand in this pool for a small beach ! The pool is going up today for the third time--don't know if it will work or not. I have been trying for over a week and a half to get anyone to help me at this co. I may as well be talking to the Easter Bunny as their customer service dept !!! more

Consumers be warned - inferior products! 12/1/2010

I had a very poor experience. No help for me, but I hope someone is able to read this and learn from my mistake. I purchased a pool cover on 11/3/10. The reason I bought it was because it had a 12 year (prorated warranty -2 year FULL warranty) I put it on the pool, and within two weeks, a thunderstorm came through and the cover was COMPLETELY DESTROYED. One side of the cover ripped COMPLETELY down the length of the cover, ripping out the grommets, tie down straps, and the cord. The cover is described as follows: # Hem double fold - 1/4"" wide rope sewn in for added strength # Non-corrosive grommets are used throughout the cover # Water bag loops every four feet for in ground covers # Double stitched hem with sewn-in polypropelene cord for added strength yet, the cover SHREDDED within 2 weeks. When I called for a replacement, the representative (Justin) on the phone said there was NOTHING that could be done since it was weather related. He said the warranty only covers manufacturer defects. However, in my opinion, any cover that is destroyed that easily IS a manufacturer defect. All consumers should be warned of their products. I only felt comfortable purchasing this product because of the warranty, which turns out to be worthless. I filed this complaint with the Better Business Bureau. more

Possibly the worlds worst customer service 11/3/2010

I would have given them five stars if these people had simply delivered the product I ordered from them. Somewhere along the line, somebody lost the product. I called them after two weeks, and said ""where is my product"". They said, I don't know, I'll look into it and call you back"" I said ""great"". They called back the next day and said that the delivery company could not locate my package. I said, ""well, then ship me another one."" They said, unfortunately, their provider or source for that product didn't have any more. I said ""well, thats too bad, just refund my visa card, and I will go find another one, no hard feelings."" They said ""sorry, our policy is not to refund your money until we have located the product."" I said, ""What?"" She said ""It is our companies policy not to refund your money until such time as we have located your product."" To which I replied, ""that doesn't seem remotely fair, can I speak to your boss please."" To which she nicely replied, ""No. This is our companies policy, and is not subject to negotiation."" more

Very unsatisfied customer 4/8/2010

I purchased a 30 foot 54 inch deep pool from National Pool Wholesalers. They sent me a liner for a 48/52 inch pool which will not fit. I contacted them about the liner and they assured me that the liner would fit, with extra left over. It did not fit. I followed the directions to the letter that came with the pool, twice, but the liner will still not fit. Now the company ignores my e-mails, will not return my calls. They are telling me that I am not installing the liner correctly, but I have done everything the manual said to do. Now they want me to use a vacuum to suck the liner to the side, the instructions never said anything about that. The ovelap liner is only54 inches from the seam to the top of the pool liner and the pool steel sides are exactly 54 inches and exactly 30 feet across. There is no way, short of filling the bottom of the pool with sand to make it 52 inches, which is what I guess I will have to do or pay for another Liner from another company. I will NEVER do business with this company again, and warn others to be very careful of them Cons: Poor customer service, substitution of merchandise more
