I would like to write a response to the review made in November 2012 from Paulina G.Let's tell the truth and only the truth.You came in for one nail color fix!! Wendy was not in so your appt was with Nina.If you were unhappy with your nails at the time of service,Im sure Wendy would have gladly made them better for you!The receptionist had you down for a pedicure not a color fix,however you proceeded to sit in the Spa chair where you failed to tell everyone that the services that Nina provided you with that evening was a full spa pedicure and that all your toes were repolished!! You got a very expensive repair done that night and then you were just going to walk out without paying!! After YOU raised your voice to all customer's and staff YOU stormed out of the business.I personally told Nina to go get your license # on your vehicle.Nina stood at the door and never approached you outside in your vehicle as you stated.Once again you entered the Salon with your arms swinging and screaming at everyone in your sight.I'm the lady who was minding my own business and told you to just pay Nina for the services she gave.You on the other hand told me to ""SHUT MY BIG FAT MOUTH.I'm the lady who called 911.If Nina assaulted you as you said,why didn't you stick around when the Maple Grove Police Officer came.You kept screaming that this establishment has been going down the drain.Then why did you come back each time.Oh and by the way did you tell everyone that you left one other time without paying for services rendered to you???? Jimmy should have and also was told he could charge you with theft.Instead he chose to just have you banned from his place of business.I have been going here going on eight year's.The staff are welcoming to each and every customer that walk's through those doors.Jimmy bends over backwards for his customers.Ok now I feel better letting everyone know the truth....sorry Michelle I just had to say my peace!!! I will never go back to Nails and Spa again! I have been a loyer customer since they opened their doors. I have brought both my daugther ins through out this time, and the orignal staff has watched them grow up. In addition - I have refered serveral new guest to them. I received a shelac pedicure from Wendy. It was a sloppy job, but I left her a 20% gratuity in addtion to paying full price for my service, just because I've know Wendy since the beginning. However with in 2 days my gel polish had peeled off several toes. I called for a ""redo"". (you don't pay for ""redo's""). It sounded like Kim answered and said come on in and we'll fix it for you. I made my appointment and came in the next day. Nina performed the service - my toes looked nice. I left yet another gratuity with Nina and upon leaving the salon was yelled at to come back and pay for my service. It turned into a yellling confrontation. I was trying to explain that this service was a redo and that I had wanted to speak with Jimmy (the owner). I left the salon and upon getting to my car was literally pushed and shoved by Nina. I yelled at her and asked what she was doing and to leave me alone! I tried to get into the drivers seat of my car and she pushed me again and got my arm stuck in the car door. Nina continued to yell that she was going to call the police if I didn't re-pay her. I went back into the salon and told them I was just assulted by Nina and want to speak to Jimmy. I Have no call back! more

I waited 20-25 minutes (after being told it would be a 10 minute wait) for a pedicure - I was a walk-in. The facility is nice and everything is brand new, but I thought the pedicure was expensive and didn't last that long - I felt like I was rushed through and the basic pedicure was $30 before tip. I'm also pretty sure they were reusing flip flops after each person instead of getting new and clean ones as they were grabbing them from under a table where people sat to let their nails dry. I won't go there again since it wasn't a great pedicure, it took over an hour, and I'm not convinced they were cleaning the foot spas and flip-flops between uses since they were busy. Pros: Nice, new facility Cons: Long wait, pedicure wasn't that great more
