I've been to this salon 3 or 4 times since X-Mas 2007 and everything is great and wonderful until you have a problem. Then, unfortunately, you'll see that all they really care about is getting your $$ no matter what they've done to you and the kissing your butt and smiles are over. During a routine nail fill-in my eye was doused with a good splash of nail polish remover by a reckless and callous technician with a brush for removing excess nail polish (I was getting an American mani). It was certainly an accident, but how it was handled was disturbing, to say the least. When I shrieked in pain I was offered no help, he just sat across from me with a stone faced apathy. I rushed to the sink to flush my eye, which is on fire, tearing and red, and still no concern from technician. I don?t believe he knew what to do and could not have cared less. For my injury, I was presented with the bill and a smile, like nothing happened while my eye is throbbing. Wow, are you kidding! Eventually, I spoke to a woman, who said she was the manager and asked her for an incident report (in case my eye did not recover) before I paid. She refused and offered me 10% of my bill, which would have amounted to a little more than $5.00. Again are you kidding! I wanted documentation of my injury before I left in case I had problems with it later. Eventually, called the owner (who was off-site) about the request. While waiting for the owner, I stepped outside to call an ambulance for treatment since my eye was not feeling any better. The owner, 45 minutes later, showed up but refused to speak to me but kept asking about the $$ and the entire time never asking if I was okay. Paramedics, officer, standers by, customers, and other shop keepers were amazed and repelled by the behavior of these people. I did get an incident report from the paramedics; a shopkeeper offered them use of their copier so I wouldn?t have to chase it down later. I guess they were disgusted by them too!!
