A couple of months ago my sister got married at the MUCKENTHALER mansion. Having not gone to see the mansion during the 1st couple of meetings, I was unable to see how unpleasant the property really looked .. I would have stopped them from booking the date at the Muck. Mansion. It is a very old, dirty, and was a bit eerie!! Not even worth half the cost. \r \r ..Sadly it gets worse. The wedding coordinator that was in charge that night was very rude, and lacked in his communication skills. \r \r During the wedding a man was walking his enormous dog through the back yard where the wedding took place. No barriers around the back lot gave any complete stranger an all access pass to the wedding. Around 8:30 that night we were asked to turn down the music, which would have been perfectly fine if had been COMUNICATED to us prior to the wedding that there is a low tolerance for music….!!!! I think my car’s radio with the windows rolled up could have even sounded louder than what was being played.\r \r Before actually walking down the isle, my sister started to cry. The tears were not from excitement but because she was so upset. There were only a total of 3 nice employees the Security guard, one of the girls catering and the bar tender. Everyone one else was unfriendly and showed poor customer service. \r \r If you are planning a wedding, and Muckerthaler Mansion is on your list,,,,, make sure that it is the last on your list, even better if it was on the back side of your list. Any and every Bride deserves to have their fairytale wedding. \r \r At the MUCKENTHALER MANSION the pictures may be perfect.. but they also can be deceiving!!!!!\r more

Terrible service / rude employees / ok location 4/29/2010

I was recently a groomsman in a wedding held at the Muck. The staff was very rude and not helpful at all. The changing room for both the guys and girls were tiny. The guys were told to change in an office which did not have a mirror or bathroom. The girls had a bathroom and a small changing room. The girls called this room a closet.\r \r After the guys finished changing, an employee can into the room and told us we needed to leave. He told us they had an appointment and needed the office. We asked where we could put our things. The rude employee told us to put our things in our cars.\r \r One of the groomsmen brought a case of beer for us to enjoy prior to taking pictures. Another rude employee told us we were not allowed to drink any outside alcohol. The employee told us to find somewhere more discreet like the parking lot. So where did we go to finish our beer.... the parking lot. Another rude employee approached us in the parking lot and told us he would be calling the police if we drank in the parking lot. We discarded our beers. As guests started to arrive they, a few guests began to consume some beers. The Muckenthaler crappy employees called the police. \r \r Thanks for excellent (sarcasm) service!!!\r \r I was very irritate along with the bride/groom/guests. It was unacceptable behaving and I would never have a wedding there. I would find another place to have a wedding if I were you. You are supposed to be treated like gold when you are attending a wedding. The MUCK simply SUCKS. Cons: Rude employees / terrible changing rooms more
