This is the worst mobile home park to live at!!! First of all...the lot rent is outrageous. They charge ridiculous fees for silly things such as $50.00 plus for not having your yard mowed by a certain time. Now really...the yard is basically a strip of grass....how can they seriously justify it costing them $50.00? They also charge if their maintenance men have to move items off your patio. I'm sure that the many victims they have taken advantage of have payed for their staff lunches many of times!!!! The current manager rides around in her golf cart with her clip board acting like she is some powerful army sargeant trying to find any little thing she can so that she can add fees to the residents rent for ridiculous things. You can tell that she really Loves her job and her duties so much that she even signs her name on certain memos "City Manager". First of all, I did not know Misty Winds was a whole other city from Corpus Christi, and second of all, I' m sure there is some legal issues with her claiming that title. I should just ask the city manager of Corpus Christi. I feel sorry for the tenants who they are driving out of the community due to the many increases in lot rent as well as the many "not so legal" fees they charge them that they cant even justify. No compassion what so ever. I wonder if this manager were to go through hard times if she will still be carrying her clipboard around driving around in her "patrol buggy" (ha!) It is no wonder that they have gone through so many managers and owners....something is very fishy here. It would be a huge nightmare for anyone to move to this place........there are other parks that charge way less, and will even offer to move your home for free....do your research before you committ to these people.!!!!!
