Mirror Lake Inn

I recently visited the Mirror Lake Inn on a trip to Lake Placid. This has to be one of the nicest hotels with the most cheerful service in the world. The rooms are comfy/clean, the staff is always helpful, the restaurants are very good, the spa is wonderful (I had a great massage) and I could go on and on about how much I loved this hotel. The indoor pool has a cute waterfall! Very romantic! The Mirror Lake Inn is centrally located and close to other restaurants, stores and most importantly the lake! I would go back to this to hotel anytime!!! I guess you can tell that I liked my experience here. more

well worth the trip worth the money well worth everything more

This was a surprise Valentine's Day present for my husband. I decided on a package that included an upgraded room, dinner and breakfast .\r \r We checked in to find coffee and incredible chocolate chip cookies by the fireplace in the lobby! Our room was a terrific upgrade with an incredible view of Mirror Lake and the high peaks. \r \r We had dinner at The View that night. I had the filet mignon. The waitress recommended an award winning red wine that even my husband enjoyed (not a wine drinker). My husband had the salmon and was quite satisfied. We couldn't decide on one dessert, so we shared two (the peanut butter tower and the apple fritters). I love breakfast in the morning, anything you want and as much as you want!
