Best hibachi in Greenville 4/12/2007

My husband and I discovered Mimi's shortly after it opened. I swear we kept the place in business in the early months because we were there every other day! We would go in and sit at a table by ourselves because no one else was there.... but now the place is PACKED! For good reason... it's AWESOME! Try the Cucumber Rolls as an appetizer... and the soy vinegrette dressing is TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!!! I swear I could drink the stuff! Tell bubba the chef I said hey! more

Mimi's is sooo much fun. She is always full of energy. I love their california rolls. The fried rice is to die for!! They always give you more than you can eat. Not to mention their drinks (alcoholic) are always mixed jussst right! more

Best Japanese Steak House in Greenville 4/3/2006

If you like the experience of sitting at the hibachi grill then you are in for a treat. There are always long lines here on the weekend, but the food and experience are well worth the wait. I recommend getting the chicken and steak combo. The fried rice is excellent, and the chefs will keep you laughing. The portions are huge so you will leave full. more

Excellent Hibachi 3/25/2006

Mimi's Steakhouse of Japan is the best hibachi grill in Greenville. Mimi's is your typical hibachi grill with the entertaining food preparation that you find at any hibachi. The restaurant is always packed, but the wait is never too long. The service is top notch and the portions are very, very large. You will definitely walk out of this with a to go box. more

Fun restaurant! 8/11/2005

I'll be the first to admit, it wasn't my idea to go to Mimi's.. my husband chose it for his birthday. And yay for him! The food was incredible. We had our three kids with us, and for around $60 we had soup, salad, scallops, shrimp, steak, rice, etc. Everyone gets a close up view of how the food is cooked, and my kids had a great time with that alone. The "flaming volcano" trick made a big impression on my son. The wait time was not bad at all, the staff is warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. I would recommend this to anyone. more
