My neighbor, Jerry Silvy, insisted I check out his mechanic even though I already had a mechanic that I was very satisfied with. I reluctantly agreed when my 1999 Isuzu Amigo had to be towed to the mechanic when a part froze and cracked off that held the belt to the alternator and other engine essentials, rendering it inoperable. I spoke with the owner, Art, who assured me it would be ready to drive the next day, and it was.
A week later I pulled out of my driveway to pick up my son and the car's front passenger tire went flat and it again, had to be towed. Art told me that it should not have gone flat like that, but to get new tires and where to get them the cheapest and guaranteed.
A week later the alternator gave out. While replacing it, the radiator hose cracked off. Art was apologetic and did not charge me for the replacement, and he ordered it overnight at his expense. I think it was going to give out anyway. The car was ready to go the following day. I think this was super customer service from a very caring family man who understands today's family's struggles. I highly recommend his shop!
