My girls and I have been riding with Judy Hartman at Milestone Farm for the past four years. Not only is Judy thoroughly knowledgeable about all aspects of horse ownership, management and riding she is an enthusiastic sharer of her knowledge. Her skills have been gained and honed over consistently being involved with horses for the past thirty years and her word in horse matters is one I consider highly when making decisions for my own horses and my daughters and myself as riders. But where Judy truly shines is in her passion and enthusiasm for her students in their quest to become better riders. She professionally and happily handles students from the rank beginner to the ambitious competitor. Milestone is an amazing barn. The owner, Judy Hartman, is very talented in her riding and her instruction. The students learn important lessons on the horse and off. The environment at Milestone is so comforting, it will quickly become your second home. more

My daughter has been taking lessons from Judy for about 6 months now. She has come such a long way. I have the type of child who has never really put 100% of herself into anything, but she does with horseback riding. I give a lot of credit to Judy in that she pushes her just enough and encourages her just enough to keep her striving and improving. My daughter has gained a lot of self confidence and I can see how much her time at Milestone farm will shape her as a person!
