DO NOT visit this Midas. I decided to go to this particular Midas because I got a coupon for an oil change/tire rotation in the mail. I made an appointment (not even necessary) and had to wait over 30 minutes before they even took my car into the garage. I then waited an hour for an oil change!! They told me my tires looked fine so they DID NOT rotate them. They also told me that all my struts were bad. Not even a few days later I smelt something burning. It turns out they put too many quarts of oil in - the top had come off and there was oil all over my engine. Also, I went elsewhere and found out my struts were completely fine. I will never go back! more

Don't Waste Your Money 7/18/2011

A/C was diagnosed with an estimate for repairs of $507.16. Luckily I choose to go elsewhere which the a/c was diagnosed and completely repaired for only $153.02 at AutoMasters in Florence, KY. I would not recommend Midas and it is also questionable whether they diagnose the a/c problem correctly. When this was brought to their attention (Mgr and District Mgr) they were rude, do not return calls, and showed little concern for the problem. They refused to refund the diagnose fee of $70.00 more

Do Not Use This Midas 7/9/2010

I brought my vehicle to the Florence Midas to check/refill the Air Conditioner because I had a coupon. The Manager found every excuse not to honor the coupon then required that I make an appointment. Even with an appointment, it took the mechanics 30 minutes to begin inspecting the vehicle and ""repairing"" the problem which took all of 15 minutes. As soon as I drove off the lot, the vehicle stalled at a stop light. The stalling problem did not occur before I took the car in to them or if I had the air conditioner off. \r \r I don't drive much, but when I did, the stalling continued and the cool air was warmer a week later. I returned the vehicle to check for leaks, again having to make an appointment, and again waiting 30 minutes for service, only to receive an astronomical $1400 estimate for repairs. I discussed this with the manager and told him I was disatisfied with their service, but all I got was attitude.\r \r From my experience, they are not very customer-oriented and could care less about customer satifaction.\r \r I live very close to the Florence Midas, but I will not be wasting my time or money with them in the future.\r \r Pros: Air Conditioned Waiting Room Cons: Poor Customer Service by Manager and Mechanics more
