The best of the best of the best!!!!!! 5/6/2011

I researched for a good Triumph mechanic in the OC area for my Triumph Speedmaster about 3 years ago because I didn't like how the dealerships treated me or the services they charged. God blessed me with running into a forum quite sometime ago that was raving about Mickey's, skeptical at first to go, but when I did and met the man, the myth, the legend I have never blinked twice over what he says or charges. He's the west coast distributor for Triumph. He demos all the Triumph bikes, Straight from their headquarters in Georgia, he always has the next model in his shop testing it out with Georgia plates before there has even been a press release for the bike. He's the real deal! If you live within 600 Miles of So Cal and you don't have your bike serviced by Mickey you are stupid. I lived in Utah for 4 years while I went to college, and I would trailer my bike home every time I came home for a holiday just so mickey could service it. He's great, friendly, nice, he doesn't think less of anyone because they aren't blessed in understanding mechanics like he does. more

FRIENDLY, FAST, AND WORTH EVERY PENNY! 10/2/2010

I let my bike sit for too long so I needed my carbs cleaned. Took my bike here on a friends suggestion and I'm not disappointed. Mickey cleaned & rejetted the carbs. He even took the time to show me how to prevent this in the future. My motorcycle sounds & performs better than ever. more

HE DOES AWESOME CARS 9/15/2010

This shop worked on my Race car and made it so quick they changed the rules to kick me out. The shop isn't a normal mechanic shop. It is a shop that worries about making right the first time, not just right now. The car left his shop and won a best in show at a car show the week before running away with a 25 second overall win. He works clean and not just on cars. I only take my 675 to his shop and not only is it VERY reliable, but also RIDEABLE. If you want power, reliability, and good prices, go there!!! more

Best Tuner Ever, AND Getting Better! 8/25/2010

Mickey is the best mechanic I've ever had work on my bikes. I've tried others to save money, and it always ends up costing more because he has to fix what they screw up. I've got pretty high standards for him and he still exceeded my expectations my last major service and customization visit. He's not cheap, but he's worth it. more

Tried the rest? Here's the best! 3/12/2010

Mickey has taken my completely stock bikes, and with no pipe or jetting changes, made them work sooo much better. When my Bandit broke its pipe, I figured it would cost large. Mickey shrugged, fabricated a new hanger from an old Hayabusa can he had laying around, and I was out the door for less than a c-note. And now the bike's faster, because it has 'Busa parts, right? Seriously, would major manufacturers let him handle their press bikes if he weren't the best? His advice on tires and parts is always spot-on, and things are done right and are finished when promised. I ride every day, rain or shine, hot or cold, light or dark, and I can depend on Mickey and his crew to do it right for me -- and so can you. I wonder about these competitors who have put the bad reviews on this page, because anybody who has had MCM do work for them knows it's good work at a fair price. Anybody who says otherwise is a lying sack of trash. Try MCM -- you'll be glad you did! Pros: These guys can fix anything and make it better Cons: They're a little casual about getting in in the mornings... more

Yes. Overhyped and Over Priced! 10/30/2009

Been to MCM twice...but never got any actual work performed because I disagree with the estimates and the amount of labour ""required."" I ride everyday...did I mention that I ride everyday! I need reliability and bulletproof tuning -- not celeb mechanics. Have to agree with otd Pros: Knows his stuff Cons: Don't need a celebrity outfit more

2 Shops countless hundreds Finally the best place! 10/17/2009

I have to say after two shops trying to map my Victory properly Mickey did it right. I held off from taking it to him due to price like the first guy said however my experience was completely different the first and each subsequent time i went back. Your working with the owner not a kid at $15 an hour, this is no bargain shop, you get what you pay for. Otd talks about Mickeys previous shop and money? hmmm smells fishy given that the very same shop has been in trouble with CA taxes for years (public info). Anyway point being if you want the best and you want your bike done right MCM is the place. You want to save 10-20% on a dice roll be my guest. As far as the dyno, its beautiful, the mapping was spot on after Mickey (who by the way does factory work for one of them) did his magic. I am very happy and apparently with all the bikes and cars so are a lot of other people. Pros: Knows what hes doing, explains the work, great reputation Cons: A little out of the way, Very busy more

Goodluck 8/16/2009
