Michael's Thai Restaurant

If you have never been to a thai restaurant, then you may find this one to be a "gem" but there are many better thai restaurants out there than this one. There was no problems with service, i think it was quick and curtious. The problem was the feel inside and the food. We had the egg roll, Tom Kar Gai soup, Curry Duck and Chicken Pad Thai. All items were avg to below avg, the worst was the curry. I was disappointed not to have a lot of curry sauce in a bowl, instead they pour a small amount on a heated skillet which dried out the curry. Im a big fan of thai (and sushi) and I wouldnt recommend this restaurant. The best thai/sushi on my list is Siam Oishi in Halledale. Everytime we have visited, they never disappoint and always satisfied. I always try out other thai/sushi restuarants and I can never top Siam Oishi. Other good thai places are King and I, Moon Thai, Saim Lotus, Rock-a-Bangkok, Sushi Siam. Pros: Service was quick. Cons: Food and Ambience is lacking more

This place has been around for years and we decided to try it out. We were craving curry chicken. Once inside we were greeted by friendly staff. Nice layout, romantic atmosphere. So many appiters to choose from!! We ordered "Money Bags" two fried dumplings that were larger than we expected; we also ordered fried won tons that to our suprise - had meat. As a main course, we ordered a boat for 2 that comes with curry chicken, beef and vegetables and pad thai noodles. ALL INCREDIBLE!!!! it came with a trip to the salad bar, a soup and an appitizer of an egg roll for a great price.
