Group home. 3/10/2009

Hi my named is Jessica.Iam now 20 years old. I used lived in Group home age of 13 through 15. In my experience in Methodist Group home, it has change my life and learning my monster behavior because I was very young and didn't know any better. People may think they hate living the group home, it is not as bad what you think. To be honesty, at first I thought I would hate it but the Teaching-Parents were Karen and Corey Paulos are the BEST!!!. even I'm a dork sometime.I love them very much. They got me really good and pull myself together. They both have change my life. The group home is basicly teach you how to use your manner, greeting other people, very important to be honesty, trust, and work on your behavior skills when you get out on the real world. I have went through a lot in the group home and I really felt like I have learn so much and never forget but I feel good about myself and change for who I am to where I wanna to be. The only matter IS always HONESTY AND and TRUST... The group home is really fun, but it only up to you that you wanna make it fun instead been so negivate at all. Be positive and be real for yourself.... We all human, and make mistake, but always learn from that lesson then move on. more

MY NAME IS DESTINY. I AM NOW 17 YEARS OLD. I HAVE BEEN IN METHODIST SINCE DECEMBER 2004. WHEN I FIRST CAME IN I HATED IT. I THOUGHT THINGS COULDNT GET WORSE. THEN I STARTED CUTTING AND GOT SENT TO THE HOSPITAL. I LOVED IT. I COULDN'T GET IT OFF MY MIND, THAT'S WHERE I WANTED TO BE IN LIFE. I WANTED TO LIVE AT THE HOSPITAL. IT WAS THE ONLY PLACE WHERE I FELT AT HOME. IF I HAD TO PICK MY FAVORITE STAFF MEMBER I WOULD PICK ALL. THERE'S NO WAY I COULD PICK BETWEEN ANY OF THEM. THE HOSPITAL TAUGHT ME TO ACCEPT WHAT LIFE THROWS AT ME. I HAVE ALSO LEARNED THAT LIFE IS 10% WHAT HAPPENDS TO YOU AND 90% HOW YOU REACT TO IT. I WILL BE GOING TO COLLEGE WITHIN A YEAR AND A HALF. I WANT TO SEE IF I CAN WORK FOR METHODIST AT SOME POINT IN MY LIFE TIME. ONCE I HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY. METHODIST HAS HELPED ME SO MUCH. THEY FIVE PEOPLE THAT HAVE HELPED ME THE MOST IN METHODIST IS MS.SANDY, MS.TIFFANY, AND MR.CORY AND MRS.KAREN PAULOS OF SPRINGDALE GROUP HOME. MS.SANDY AND MS.TIFFANY NOW WORK FOR DIFFRENT GROUP HOMES AND A DIFFRENT PART IN THE AGENCY. I AM NOW LIVING IN A METHODIST FOSTAR HOME AND DOING WELL. I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR BEING SUCH A BIG HELP IN MY LIFE Pros: THE STAFF, FRIENDLY CARE Cons: THE COLDNESS OF THE ROOMS more
