Went in for an oil change and found out i needed 4 new tires. I had significant inner edge wear that I couldn't see until the car was on the rack in their shop. Instead of just telling me i needed tires, they SHOWED me i needed new tires by educating me on why my tires were wearing un-evenly. Their payment plan helped me out when i was in a bind. If it werent for mcleas I'd be driving my kids around with 4 tires ready to blow. They gave my 4 year old son a McLea's soccer ball to keep. That kept him happy while we were waiting. I also noticed they had cleaned my windshield for me when i was driving away. Pretty cool. I'll be a returning customer from now on. more

Les McLea's a personal friend of mine, but they have a competent staff who is available to his customers' needs. They take care of all my vehicles and trucks, and when I need something done, they get right on it. When they see something, they discuss the price of the job and get it done. McLea's has always done the job well and on time. There are a bunch of other tire services, and at my job, time is money. Came in for a new set of tires for my business work van. While purchasing the tires I mentioned the van didn't handle well- mainly due to increased weight. As my business has grown so has the weight I carry around in the work van. McLea's suggested a heavy duty tire for increased stability, and the new tires made a big difference. Before I left with my new tires, though, Les McLea suggested a rear spring add-kit which would increase handling. More important, for me, was that the spring kit would also help handling in an emergency swerving situation. I came back a few days later and had the parts installed. I could hardly believe how the van handled, very stable in off-ramps, no outside sway. It was the perfect solution for this work van until it wears out and I replace it with a heavier duty van next time. I recently had for new tires installed on my Jaguar and was very pleased with the installation, price and overall service I received. When they had the car up on the hoist they pointed out a worn part that needed replacement that I was not even aware of. You could clearly see the problem and by catching the bad part it saved me a considerable amount of money by taking care of it then. Had four tires put on my jaguar and was very happy with the service and cost. When I read the previous review I was a little up set that a group like Insider would not consider the cost per man hour that it takes for even an inspection. The whole review smelled like it was someone posting a bad review for other reasons. When I asked the owner about this review he explained that even if a fee was charged for an inspection it would have been 100% credited to a repair at their facility. So the bottom line is that in life good service does come with a cost. Thanks for the great service and I will open my check book any time for McLea?s Tire & Automotive. more

Sounded a bit much to me to want that much money to check out my wheel noise. So l went elsewhere and got a $50 quote which was given complimentary after all was said and done, it is strut noise. l can wait for social security check to get it fixed. l was afraid wheel might fall off. Now l feel much better AND saved $118, which he said would NOT come off the repairs. more
