Mc Kendree Village

Mckendree Village is one of the worst (if not the) nursing home in the state. The staff are grossly underpaid. There are not enough staff. Management is horrendous. All of their energy is focused on covering their ass, not on the patients. The patients are not taken care of properly, not because the nurses or techs are bad, but because there are not enough of them. The management treats their staff horribly. Threatening them, lying to them, putting impossible standards on them. That's why their turnover rate is sky high. The state has already shut them down once, it's time they are shut down for good. Or at least replace the management, and definately the administrator. The management currently in place are money hungry, and have absolutely no interest in the residents at all. Please do not put your loved ones in this facility!! more
