Mc G's Irish Pub

My husband and I met a friend here for some Belgian Ale tasting and had a great time. Mc G's has an awesome selection of beers on tap. Our Slovakian server was great and I was thrilled with my smoked ham sandwich and yummy fries. To say they have 2 big screen tvs is an understatement. They're projection tvs with great quality and it would be fun to watch a game here. I would not call this an upscale pub; it's a friendly, neighborhood place. I'm guessing it used to be a mexican restaurant or something with the heavily textured stucco inside, but it's fun and I'll definitely be happy to come back again.\r \r 3/30 Update: Noticed the address is wrong; this is on Devonshire at Canoga. Do Not go to this place. The owner of the pub was behind the bar and I was ordering some drinks and it was my first time to Mc G's Irish Pub. The owner came over and said ""what the f**k do you want?"". I was highly offended but stuck around because I knew the live band playing that night. When I left the pub around 1 a.m. I saw the owner, Phillip in the parking lot and he was cussing at my friends outside and had a large bodyguard to intimidate them. He was so angry and vulger, I thought he was going to physically assault them. I have never seen such disrespect in my life, especially coming from the owner of an establishment. I would highly recommending going to any other pub in the Valley other than this one. This was the worst pub I've ever been to. Great place to just hang out with friends. Great selection of beers and some of the best spirits from around the world just ask for the beer list to pick your favorite. The have a food menu that has a good mix of everything from traditional Irish to California cuisine and the staff is always friendly. The pool tabels are level and dart boards are available away from the crowd. The juke box has an eclectic mix of from the 40's to current and if your music is not there it has internet connectivity. They mix it up with a combination of live bands, D.J.'s, trivia games and Karaoke during the week and weekends. With 2 big screen and several other wide screen T.V.'s hooked up you can watch your favorite sport or team in comfort. The locals are friendly and make friends easily. The parking needs to be improved but dont let that stop you from a great experience!! Pros: Everything inside the place Cons: Parking more
