He did my kitchen for me a few years ago and more recently he did my bathroom. The people he had working for him were very professional gentlemen. They cleaned up after themselves...

Worst

Everything is priced a la carte, like walking into a restaurant and expecting a steak dinner and you get meat loaf, mashed potatoes, and peas at a higher price than the menu shows...

Professional and courteous 9/13/2012

He did my kitchen for me a few years ago and more recently he did my bathroom. The people he had working for him were very professional gentlemen. They cleaned up after themselves, were very mechanically inclined and left no slop or no mess. They put everything in the way it should be put in, I had no problems with them at all. more

Professional but Sneaky 4/8/2011

Everything is priced a la carte, like walking into a restaurant and expecting a steak dinner and you get meat loaf, mashed potatoes, and peas at a higher price than the menu shows, you also have to pay the waiter, you have to pay the dishwasher, you have to pay an add-on charge for a recommendation for dessert down the street where they take the rest of your money and the dessert was missing the expected extras it had listed on their menu.\r No Joke, that's the company policy. more

My husband and I went to the showroom for a kitchen update several years ago. We were completely snubbed by them because my thought was that we looked "young." They blew us off and did not take us seriously. We are young, however, I'm an R.N. and my husband is a senior electrical engineer. I was appalled at the way we were treated. We took our business elsewhere and spent our significant budget there instead... more

Avoid the flooring and counter department. Customer issues take a back seat. They're focused on what's best for them. I recommend paying 1/2 up front and 1/2 after you're satisfied with the order and/or quality of the materials. more

Waiting almost two months on a reply for a chipped Silestone Countertop that was at the time under one year old. more

Informative 10/6/2010

We were not in the market for a new kitchen but rather a new countertop. We had no idea of the amount of choices and were confused at the options. We were given a tutorial on the differences and a salesman made an appointment to stop out the next day to verify sizes, it was easy. We were given various prices and we were able to pick a quartz top that we really love. It was a very simple easy process. more

Bad business 5/9/2010

It was a waste of our time contacting Matteo kitchens. A rep came to our home and promised to have a contractor get in touch with us asap. We never heard from them. We went and visited their showroom and again their salesperson promised we would hear from someone and we never did. We ended up hiring another contractor for a $25,000 job. I guess Matteo is doing so well they don't need our money. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Go elsewhere! more

The name says it all! It truly is a family atmosphere right from the moment you walk through the door. They listen to what you have to say and only show you those selections that fall within your budget. Honest and friendly. more

Good selection 11/13/2005

If you are in need of a new kitchen or bath or even just new flooring, you should take a ride out to see the Matteo's showroom. They have a nice selection of different styles and finishes and colors to look at. They have been in this business for a long time, and they are very good at what they do. Lots of good suggestions and advice on how to make your house look just the way you dream of. more
