Marie Calendar's is definitely a fantastic place to eat. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is comfortable, the food is delicious, the pies are to die for, and the price is reasonable for what you get.
From their burgers- of which there are a wide variety- to the special Prime Rib meal, to their soups, sandwiches, and salads, I don't think I've ever had a disappointing experience.
The waitstaff is wonderful, and will make the effort to get to know you- they know my regular meal, and my favorite dessert.
And speaking of dessert, I judge all pies by Marie Calendar's pies. The Chocolate Satin is amazing, the cherry pie is just tart enough, the key lime and lemon meringues are fantastic... And they have seasonal pies and specialty pies that are creative and always taste great.
Definitely my 'comfort food' restaurant, and I recommend them highly to anyone and everyone.
