Maribelle Cakery & Tatisserie

We ordered our wedding cake from Maribelle, and it was a big mistake. To be fair the cake tasted pretty good, but that is about as far as it got. The cake was built wrong, it did not have the topping/decoration on it we wanted. Nor did it have the fondant on it we paid extra for. In addition, the cake was 3 hours late being delivered, it didn't show up until the wedding was almost over! When we tried to call and find out where our cake was, or to complain after the fact, our calls were never answered (the lines were either busy or went to voice mail). You are better off buying sheet cake from Frye's!!! more

I think its funny that I have seen this ""Pete"" guy on like 10 sites talking about Maribelles cake. I'm glad I didn't listen to him. Makes me wonder...hey Pete do you work for a bakery? Because you sound like a vendor. Plus it didn't even sound like you bought a cake from them .So why would they rent you a stand? sounds fishy. My hubby to be & loved the cake ! more

I was really surprised to see some of the bad reviews because we had such a wonderful experience with them. I went in one with my husband and once with my mom for the tastings, and they were all some of the most delicious things I've ever tasted. There were three layers to our wedding cake, and they were all delicious, but just as important, when I got to the reception site, I was so overjoyed when I saw how beautiful the cake was. It was gorgeous, and they did a very nice job even decorating the table around the cake. When we got our free one year anniversary cake, I was expecting something about the equivalent of a cupcake, but they didn't skimp on that either. It was a full-sized round cake that was decorated beautifully and once again was just mouthwateringly delicious. I couldn't be any more impressed and please with Maribelle's. We went to Maribelle to taste the cakes. They were not very impressive and extremely overpriced. However they did have a nice cake stand that we RESERVED and PAID for FOUR MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING. A week before the wedding, we called Maribelle to see if we could get the stand a day early and we were told that they already gave it to someone else! I guess paying for and reserving the stand didn't mean anything to them. They did not apologize at all for the serious lack of customer service or offer to help. If we had not called, we probably would have found out the hard way right before we needed it! AVOID MARIBELLE AT ALL COSTS, THEY REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT DOING WHAT'S RIGHT. more

I had my first Maribelle Cakery fresh Strawberry and Cream Cheese cake at a friends birthday party last week and it was fabulous! It was light and delicious and was just perfect. The top of it was covered in big, juicy white chocolate dipped strawberries! It was so beautiful no one wanted to cut it and then we fought over who got to take home the extra pieces at the end of the party! I have a new bakery for life. more

I had a chocolate Maribelle cake at an office party and it was the best cake I had ever tasted! I'm getting married in the fall and I already picked Maribelle Cakery for my wedding cake. You also get a free cake for your 1st anniversary! How cool is that? Anyway, their taste tastings are free and their white buttercream is to die for. Don't go anywhere else!!!!!! I had a Maribelle cake for my wedding and it was fabulous! I chose a cake out of a magazine instead of in the shop and they recreated it just like the picture in the magazine. Their chocolate cake is to die for! Yummmmmy!!!! Pros: Delivery, good value, beautiful cakes more
