A collection of town homes in a quiet but convenient setting.
The SceneThis complex of seven town homes surrounds a lovely courtyard in the quieter back section of the French Quarter. It is closer to seedy Rampart Street than the Mississippi River, but the lovely property exudes a quiet, residential air which its guests love. While removed from the hubbub, it's still convenient to all the action in the Quarter. The DetailsOpened in 1975, the hotel evokes the past with ironwork balconies, exposed brick and a semi-tropical courtyard. A $5-million renovation rejuvenated the guest rooms with the use of soft colors and florals and the addition of impressive marble bathrooms. Be sure to ask for a room with a balcony that opens over the courtyard. Sitting on such a perch with a cup of morning coffee is serenity itself. You'll also find lots of contemporary amenities likes video games, a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.
