Best

My husband and I can't resist the beef medallions or the four chees ravioli (have it as the appetizer). Great service but it can get busy and you may have to wait if you can't sc...

Worst

Maggiano's serves big portions of Italian food, but it's not very authentic. It's Americanized Italian food. There is nothing very special about the food except that the portion...

Too bad service doesn't match the food 5/24/2002

The food is delicious, some favorites include tuscan style muscles, the spinach or Maggiano's salad, the best lasagna we've ever had from a restaurant, the salmon is also wonderful, and I've never had a dessert there that I wasn't thrilled with. Service on the other hand I have too often found lacking. The "family style meals" are only a good deal with exactly 4 people, and they are a terrible deal for kids. • In Short
Family-style portions and red-checkered tablecloths create a casual, congenial vibe, drawing families and large groups to this feast of Italian-American nostalgia set to a Sinatra soundtrack. The made-from-scratch menu is brimming with traditional dishes, from starters like fried calamari, Parmesan garlic bread and Tuscan-style mussels to spaghetti with meatballs and manicotti with chicken and spinach. For those with room to spare, a piece of sweet tiramisu and a strong cappuccino help finish the meal.
