Great Experience!!! 2/25/2011

I took my dog Missy to this clinic and finally found a honest, friendly, and clean animal hospital. After a few bad experiences at other vets in the area this clinic was a breath of fresh air. The dr. and staff was friendly, educational, and walked me through every step of treatment for my dogs illness. It was affordable and my dog is now feeling so much better! Thank you dr. and staff at Macy & Thomas!! You guys do a great job!! more

I am so grateful for Dr. Kay and Macy & Thomas Vet. Hospital. He has helped my cat through two infections, and Dr. kay and Staff did whatever they could to help me out. I had no appointment on Saturday, and we were seen within an hour. The prices were less than the other Vet that I used to go, So I highly recommend this caring and affordable Vet. to everyone! more

Excellent Service 7/24/2010

I have been taking my dog to Macy & Thomas since 2001 and have never had any problems. I've received follow-up calls several times the same week when my dog had surgery and/or undergoing for treatment in different occasions. The front desk staff are very friendly, caring and helpful as all the Vets who assisted my dog all these years. Dr. Kay, specially, is an excellent human being, very knowledgeable and kind. I am very pleased with the service they all provide and I would never consider to take my dog to another vet. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! more

Excellent care 7/22/2010

I have been taking my cats to Macy and Thomas for many years. My animals have always received excellent care from Dr. Kay and his knowledgeable staff. Dr. Kay knows the latest research in veterinary medicine and is committed to the care and well being of all of his patients. Following treatment, Dr. Kay and his staff spend time with me to make sure I understand how to provide follow up care at home, and always call the next day to ensure that my pet is responding well. The entire staff at Macy and Thomas treat my cats with gentleness and concern. They are professional, friendly, helpful, competent, and compassionate. I know that they are all "animal lovers" and therefore understand how important my little animals are to me. I am grateful to Dr. Kay and the staff at Macy and Thomas for the excellent work that they do. more

Worst Clinic and DISRESPECTFUL Dr. kay!! 7/16/2010

I took my cat to this hospital few weeks ago for the first time for routine exams and vaccination, but I won't go back again. They had scheduled me at 2:45 pm, but Dr. kay showed up after 45 minutes sitting in the exam room; first his cell phone started ringing, then he kept sending text during the exam. He didn't touch my baby and asked someone else to give him a hand. He walked out of the room while I was talking to him and yelled at someone for few minutes. It was kind of in rush and didn't answer my questions at all. At the end I hope I could upload the estimate to see how expensive they are in this economy situation. So if you care for your pet and your money don't go to Macy & Thomas Veterinary Hospital and don't support them. But I have to appreciate the friendly and nice staff. more

Outstanding pet care!!! 6/19/2010

My dog Logan suffered for years with chronic ear infections that no vets were able to control until the day we went to Macy and Thomas Vet Hospital. Dr. Kay helped my dog immediately with his ear problems and ever since, Logan has lived a happy life. Dr. Kay is very compassionate and takes the time to explain all procedures. He keeps the owners feelings in mind and is so friendly with the pets. My dog absolutely loves Dr. Kay and can sense that he truly cares about him. This doctor and his staff are a true godsend. Dr. Kay will even kneel to the floor to examine my dog and talk to him the whole time. I am so happy that I found Dr. Kay to care for any problem my dog may have. He is the best doctor ever!!!! I completely agree with erocker's message. Dr. Alexander Taub did not seem to know what he was doing when we took our pet there. Our cat died shortly after Dr. Taub treated him. Need we say more?!?! more

The Best Local (Whittier) Veterinary 12/3/2009

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! 7/7/2009

We recieved the worst service taking our dog here. Dr. Alexander Taub is not only incompetent and grossly negligient he is arrogant about it as well. We took our dog in for an infection he had, he was having trouble urinating. Dr. Taub first said it was probably a foxtail and when we told him no it wasn't he then guessed that someone tried to shave him. We also said no we didn't and he rolled his eyes and arrogantly said he would check him out. We left our dog there all day and Dr. Taub said indeed someone tried to shave our dog and it nipped off a bit of skin. This man could not doctor his way out of a paper bag. This was absolutely not true and we will never take our pets there ever. Our dog's old doctor, Dr. Johnson sold the business 3 years ago. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS AND WANT QUALITY CARE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. more

Money first, treating last 11/13/2008

We took our 15 yr.old cat here. He was very sick. The vet we saw only listened to his heart. He said our cat needed to be boarded, have an IV, blood & urine tests. He left the room and 20 minutes later we had to find someone to let us know the cost $355 and where the vet went. We paid the office fee and left. The next day we took our cat to another vet who was kind. He ran a blood test and 10 min. later told us the results, renial faliure. The vet at M&T could have done the same. He saw $ first caring last. more

Veterinary Hospital 7/6/2005

I took my pet rabbit to this animal hospital. The staff there was very helpful. They treat your pets with so much love, that's what I love about this place. Another thing I like about this place is that you don't have to be waiting long for your pet to be attended. The prices obviously vary for whatever you are there for but overall the price is average. more
