Have been shopping at this great store for years and never had an issue with returns or help. Was in the store once when I saw a woman trying to return something that was opened and used and then wanted to return it. Maybe when you open and use something you shouldn't be returning it? Otherwise why wouldn't everyone buy things and return them when they got tired of them? I can't blame stores for not taking used products back. As for my experiences, they have always been helpful, knowledgable, gift wrap and even carried my bags out to my car because they were heavy. I'm a fan, have been for years and will be for more to come more

I was always very happy with this strore between the customer service and friendly staff. When it came to return an item I was very dissapointed. My daughter received a lava lamp for her 8th birthday which she loved until she burned herself on it. I never realized how dangerous this item was until I felt how hot the lamp got. I explained this to the owner and she could care less that my daughter burned herself. She was not happy that the item was opened and she had to give me a credit. Very big mistake I will not give them my business anymore. more

Every birthday, every holiday, every event for my grandchildren has been made even more special by the employees. Their knowledge and experience proves invaluable. They have selected almost all my presents, and they are always on target. A TREASURE TO THE COMMUNITY. more

I have been shopping here for years and it just keeps getting better. The people that work there are very helpful, they always have great new things. I wish they had later hours but this is a true family business so I guess its hard. more

I have shopped in this store many times and have always found the selection and service to be wonderful. I saw review about difficulty with return and I must say that perhaps there's more to the story as I have done many returns and never had a problem. In fact I found them to be more than willing to help me with any issues. They also have assembled products for me without charge a service I have never come across before. more

I read such good reviews I decided to give them a try. I purchased about 10 items in excess of 350.00. Staff was very friendly and helpful. First time we used one 15.00 toy (aqua bomb- which needs to be screwed open and closed to use it) it jammed closed and we couldn't open it. I sent my daughter to return it (and also pick up 2 more toys) The sales girl was equally unsuccessful in unscrewing it so my daughter asked for an exchange.It appeared they may have had this problem before with this toy. They did exchange it but only after telling my daughter it was her fault for closing it too tight-and then she rolled her eyes when my daughter said she didn't have the box.I had been very happy with this store-Now they will never see me again. The good customer service seems to end when you pay and walk out the door. more

I came upon this store by accident today...THANK GOODNESS I made the wrong turn. We moved here 2 yrs ago from NC (we shopped at Tookie Toys) and have been looking for a great toy store since. I can't wait to take the kids here. They were not with me, but I told them all about it. I guess you are wondering what makes it so special. Well, you not only get excellent customer service by super friendly people, but you will find an array of toys that can not be found at places like Toys R Us or Target. The quality is so much better. In addition, an excellent source of educational material is available. Again, Thank goodness I made a wrong turn. more

I absolutely love this toy store! It is a relatively small toy store located in the Plainview Center on S. Oyster Bay Road. Despite being small it is filled with tons and tons of fabulous toys and gift ideas. The great thing about it is that they carry toys that you aren't going to find in Toys r' Us and Target, many unique toys. They also carry a lot of educational things which I think is great. I believe it is owned by a husband and wife, and one of them is always there. In addition, they hire a very knowledgeable staff. They know all of their inventory real well and are great with recommendations. Added bonus - they gift wrap! more
