Lone Peak Trailers & Rv

Why did I bother to take my horse trailer to Lone Peak Trailers this morning at 8:00 AM?\r \r I'm very disappointed in Lone Peak's service. After waiting a couple of weeks for an ""appointment"", I worked my plans around the appointment day and dropped my horse trailer off at 8:00 in the morning. At the end of the day I called to get a status and found that zero work had been done on my trailer because of another trailer that was dropped off a couple of days before that they were now having problems with. \r \r Seriously? No one could bother to call and tell me this BEFORE I dropped of my trailer? What a waste of an entire day. This is Thursday and I have a competition Saturday. To make matters worse, they can't even guarantee that my trailer will be worked on on Friday, much less when it will be finished. It's not like my job a big deal. Replacing a few hinges, replacing a few lights, and putting a rubber mat in a tack room.\r \r This really screwed up our plans. Since I have no idea when it will be done, I have to be ready to pick it up at any time so the my tow vehicle can't be taken in for service before the weekend trip to our competition. \r \r All this could be avoided with a single phone call before I brought the trailer in letting me know that they are a day, two days, or who knows how long behind.\r \r Unbelievably poor communication. more

we took our truck in to have a hitch installed. we were told that it would take 3 to 4 hours. we were called about 4 hours after we dropped our truck off and were told it wouldnt be ready until later that afternoon. we were quoted $650.00 for installation. after they had the truck they told us it was going to cost more because we had airbags on our truck. the price then doubled and we didnt get our truck back for 2 days. after talking to other companies that install these hitches they said air bags or not it should not take any longer than 4 hours at the most and should cost no more than $500.00. after bringing the truck home we have now noticed that there is a cut in our wheel well that is a perfect shaped triangle. why? I agree - I don't know what those other people were talking about because all of my experiences at Lone Peak have been awesome! I've shopped at the store in Lehi but because I live down south, I go into the one in Springville which is really convienient. It's always such a fun atmosphere and I love the service and the way I am treated there. I would highly recommend Lone Peak and that is the only place I feel like I don't get a raw deal. more

I read these other reviews and decided to go to Lone Peak Trailer anyway. These other people must have caught one of their employees on a bad day. I go to other businesses and do not get anywhere near the customer service I received at Lone Peak. They treated me like a friend. It was a wonderful experience that I was not expecting. The trailer I purchased is wonderful as well. more

Very, very rude employees. They acted like it should be my privilege to be there. Two different service employees told me, ""If you don't want us to work on your trailer, then take it somewhere else!"" Pros: Large selection of trailers, good location Cons: The worst customer care than I have ever seen more

I'm so glad i was warned. I went out of my way to go look at trailers there. They were no help whatsoever, didn't show me alternative colors, didn't deal with me at all. They acted like I was a pain in the butt for being there. I had the cash to buy on the spot if I found something I liked. Little did they know!!! Sounds like I'm very fortunate that they were so rude. Pros: Convinient to get to Cons: rude, and no one wants to help more

I just purchased and trailer from here and on the way down the freeway the rear tire fell apart. It damaged the back end. The trailer we purchased is not the trailer we got. They gave us a stripped down version with Cons: no real waranty more

i HAD A FITH WHEEL HITCH INSTALLED ON MY DODGE I SUPPLIED ALL OF THE BRACKETS TO INSTALL PROPERLY. THEY DECIDED TO SAVE TIME AND WELD IT TO MY FRAME. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE PRACTICE BY EVERYBODY THAT I HAVE TALKED TO IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. DODGE MECHANICS SAY I SHOULD HAVE HAD THEM BUY ME A NEW TRUCK. THEY CUT THE BRACKET ON THE REAR BECAUSE IT DIDN'T FIT RIGHT AND PUT A 1 INCH WELD TO HOLD. I HAD A 20,000 LB HITCH INSTALLED AND NOW I FEEL LIKE I AM RISKING MY LIFE AND EVERYBODY AROUND ME WHEN I PULL MY 41 FOOT TRAILER. I WILL GLADLY SUPPLY PICTURES OF INSTALL TO DISCOURAGE ANYBODY FROM MAKING THE MISTAKE I DID THINKING THEY KNOW HOW TO INSTALL HITCHES. Cons: TOTAL RIP-OFF more
