Professionals having fun 3/8/2010

Brian and his staff really take their jobs seriously but have a good time doing it! I have had 6 tattoos done by Brian and his staff and all of them are passionate of their craft! Big ups to all at Living Arts! I'll be there again soon! more

Swell tattooing. 2/5/2010

I had my first tattoos done here, a simple design on the tops of each hand. I applaud their patience with my OCD of the straight lines and dots they were doing, I'm sure I was annoying enough. They said hand tattoos would fade easily but it's been a few years and their still fine. Pros: good people, good artists, clean and calm atmosphere more

7 strong and gowing 2/3/2010

I swear by living arts. I currently have 8 tattoos on my arms 7 of them done by Ryan and Scott. This place is my home away from home and the artists are spectacular. They will help you the best the can given what you want. If they tell you no or it cant be done its for good reasons. Remember people what you want might not be physicaly possible and if they turn you down its not in a venomous fashion. I love all the guys and girls that run ""the"" best tattoo parlor in New Hope! Pros: Brilliant artists, comfortable more

highly recommended 12/13/2009

I recently had my first tattoo done at Living Arts - it was a memorial to a loved one who had recently died so it was a very emotional experience for me, as well as being my first tattoo. I was incredibly nervous. Josh did my tattoo, and he was unbelievably patient and willing to work with me to get the placement of the tattoo just right and exactly the color of ink that I wanted. I brought my own drawing, and the tattoo I ended up with looks exactly like what I had drawn / pictured in my mind. The process itself hardly hurt at all - nowhere near as bad as I'd been expecting - and was done very quickly. I would definitely go back to Living Arts, and recommend them to anyone. Pros: Friendly, professional, and very patient people more

great shop 10/21/2009

about a year ago, i went to this shop to buy my husband a tattoo but i didn't know anything about the tattoo or appointment process. i had about a thousand questions and needed someone to take time with me. i spoke to the girl at the front counter named stacy. she was covered in tattoos and an absolute sweetheart. she answered all my questions even though she was really busy. she explained the entire process from beginning to end with me and even explained aftercare so i knew i should wait til after our trip to the islands to give him his gift certificate. when we got back from vacation we met with stacy and brian for a consultation and set up our appointment. the following week my husband got his first tattoo. we could not be happier with the art and atmosphere. Pros: they answered all my questions Cons: they were very busy more

Good experience 8/7/2009

I had a very good experience at Living Arts for my first tatoo. Josh worked with me when I brought in my idea for the tatoo and redesigned it based on what I wanted. The tatoo experience was pleasant (well as pleasant as it can be) but I felt at ease and comfortable. The tatoo is unique, artful and exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend them. Pros: Good experience for first tatoo more

Poor Follow Thru 5/12/2009

I made an appointment (after showing Brian my ideas) 3 weeks out. He called the DAY OF to say he ""didn't take my design seriously and needs more time"". Then he asked me to 'help' by finding additional images for him to use. I'm sorry, who's job is it to play artist? Cons: don't complete work more

Rude & Obnoxious Service & A BAD VIBE - I don't recommend this place at all 7/28/2008

I went to this place recently to get a tattoo because I had read so many great things about it online. My experience was horrendous and caused me to walk out highly annoyed and angry at the girl in front without a tattoo. The girl working at the front was extremely short tempered with me because I had a few questions and she could not stop making rude faces at my tattoo. Now, my tattoo was very simple, just an outline of a small design, while she had nasty, classless tattoos all over her arms. All that means to me is that we have different tastes in tattoos...but to her it meant that it was okay to make faces at my tattoo as if it was the worst tattoo she had ever seen and drive me out of that place. She didn't want to answer any of my questions and continued to look at me like I was an alien when, in fact, she is the one who was quite obnoxious. I was not about to pay $100 for that kind of attitude when it was my first tattoo experience and i needed someone who was actually kind person to explain a few things about the tattoo. The other thing is that I wanted it on my foot and she gave me this whole speech on the fact that it will fade and that they do not do free touch ups for foot tattoos. I walked out of there annoyed and went to the Lion's Den across the street where Tony was so friendly and cool about the whole thing and also said that touch ups for foot tattoos are free. It was also only $80! Cons: Terrible customer service, bad vibe, careless people working there, not a good place to get a first tattoo more
