Linwood Animal Hospital

I have been taking my now 9yr old Jack Russel to Linwood for about 6 years and have never had a problem.We have even had to get her in right away due to minor emergencies and they have always squeezed us in. more

I would highly recommend Linwood and have never had a problem with Dr. Cookingham, she is a very sweet and caring Vet. I have been going to them for 14 yrs. with 5 cats and 1 dog. I find that Dr. Agrafojo has a friendlier attitude towards her clients. Dr. Andrews is wonderful too. I have had a problem with Dr. McCarthy, so I just won't see him. Can't get along with everyone. The staff is excellant, although I don't like it when they push tests and their products. This is up to the Vet. to suggest. There office visits and costs aren't much different than anywhere else. If you want the best care for your pets then you need to pay the price. My pets are worth the best! Saturday night I had an emergency- my chinchilla was very ill and I tried calling Linwood. They wouldn't see me because I wasn't a regular client. They, along with many other local hospitals, were not helpful but instead referred me to many other places and seemed unconcerned with my pet's predicament. My chinchilla ended up passing away after several hours trying to find someone who would see him. more

I've been a client with Linwwod for 5 yrs and I must say they go out of there way to accomadate your needs as well as your pets.The staff is GREAT,curtious and very thoughtful.Their isn't another vet that I would go to. more

I have been using Linwood Animal Hospital and have always like them. I always see Dr Cookingham for our pets. I first met her when we needed to have our Boston Terrier of 11 years put down do to health issues that had been going on for over 1 year . We had a diff. Vet. and were unable to get him to help when our dog was near death . We called her and she saw us. We know it was time to say good bye to Penny. She not knowing us took care of every thing. and after all was down we received a card in the mail from her. It was so sorry for your loss and a message that a donation was made in her name for ways to help find ways to cure that type of problem. How many Vets. would do that for people. We after 1 year got our new dog and have been with her for 10 years now. We have always been happy with them . There should be more like her . One can see why this animal hospiutal has been around so long. thank you linwood. more

Linwood Animal Hospital has a great staff and facilty in Lowell, MA. The veterinarians are extremely caring and competent - and take time to listen to your concerns. \r The vet is actually a big house which makes it comfortable instead of cold and sterile. I'd go back in a heartbeat! more

Two out of the three Vets at this hospital are wonderful. The older woman is not a good vet. But I have been going to this hospital for 40 years, and had have wonderful care for all my animals. I highly recommend them. more

Not only did I have a bad experience with this place (prescribing harmful medication to my cat with kidney failure), but when I sought to find a good vet by posting on Craigslist I got two responses from people who had also had the misfortune of using Linwood's 'services' who warned me to not go there.\r I would give this place no stars if I had the option. more
