Parkdale Mall is on the Eastex Freeway at Dowlen and is at the center of the best shopping in Beaumont. There are many nationally-known stores in the mall and farther down on Dowlen. The anchor stores at Parkdale are Dillard's (a women's store and a men's store), Sears, JCPenney, Bealls, and Foley's. A recent renovation has the mall looking good, and there are lots of special events held throughout the year. There's a food court between women's Dillard's and Sears and activities for kids such as a mini-carousel. Many temporary stores are added by the food court during the holiday season.
