I was a regular customer when this was K & D jewelers & never had a problem for the last 20 years (before they changed hands). Last Nov., I took my engagement ring to have it sized & sautered & George handled my business. He did NOT check to see if my phone # was up to date & I never got a call. I wondered but let it go as I had no money to pay. When I did call, he did NOT apologize but said to come get it. When I did, it did NOT fit! It was 1/4"" too small! 1 trip wasted & $10 in gas. In 2 weeks he called & I put $10 in my car & NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE! And, NO APOLOGY! He ""promised"" to have it ready in a week. I went & started to ask if he might consider taking some off for MY inconvenience & he freaked out & started YELLING at me! He could have just professionally, nicely said ""We are not able to do that. I AM SORRY YOU WERE INCONVENIENCED"" Then, as I had the ring on, making sure it fit, he grabbed my keys which were on the counter along with my purse. I said, ""You have no right taking my property."" & he screamed ""I'm just keeping your keys until you pay for or return my property."" I told him that Deb would never have acted like this & he said ""Deb said to get you & your ring out of here & not to ever come back."" As I was shakily leaving, leaning heavily on my walker, he yelled, ""Don't come back!"" I have never been treated so badly in my 44 years of life!
