Lehi Medical Clinic

I was sick and had 3 small children with me so I didn't want to wait in a waiting room for a long time. I called the urgent care and they said they take appointments so I made an appointment. I waited 2.5 hours in their waiting room with three small children. My appointment was for 11am and I wasn't seen until 1:30. I'm sure the doc took a nice long lunch instead of seeing me. It's not a problem they wanted to take a lunch. The problem was they made an appointment with me before their lunch and treated me poorly by telling me they'd be with me in a few minutes. I asked when I was going to bee seen and you could tell the front desk was ashamed of how long they were making me wait. I would have been seen 10x over by just going to an IHC Instacare that doesn't take appointments. I would have left, but they kept telling me it would just be a few minutes. I didn't want to take 3 little kids to another waiting room (one of them had strep throat and was miserable). Once I was seen, I told the doctor and the PA in no uncertain terms that I felt the practice was very rude and disrespectful. They're obviously gods because they have a PA or some other sort of paper to hang on their wall and they were offended that I would tell them they were rude for making an appointment with me and then making me wait 2.5 hours. I could never treat someone like that and I didn't think it was fair for them to treat me that way. All they had to do was swab my throat and write me a prescription because I was sure it was strep throat. In total, they swabbed my throat (as I had asked) and said I had strep throat. I knew that already because my little son had it as well. I was with the PA for less than 5 minutes. On my way out I was given a prescription for my symptoms and a letter saying I was no longer welcome at the practice. I laughed. How dare we offend the medicinal gods and tell them their practice was poorly run and rude! As if I would ever come back. I visited the AF Location, not the Lehi location. more

Dr. Sundwall is great to work with! He really listens to his patients and doesn't rush them through appointments, make them feel worthless, or brush them off. He also believes in getting to the root of the problem and wants to do more than just treat symptoms. For example, my husband had been suffering from the symptoms of acid reflux for quite some time and had to take medication that was quite costly on a daily basis. Dr. Sundwall recommended a specialist, he had surgery, and he hasn't had any problems since then! He also recommended a great specialist to help him with his back problems. He is great! more

My doctor changed practices and I needed a new doctor. Dr. Egan had just joined the practice at Lehi Medical Center. He does general/family practice, and I would totally feel comfortable taking my daughter to him as well if her pediatrician was not available. He was very friendly and helpful. He listened closely to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. He is a great addition to this practice, and I definitely recommend him! more
