Built from local fallen trees, these cabins took me back in time to when, as a kid, my family stayed in similar cabins in the era before motels. The cabins are scattered about so that you don't feel as if in a compound.\r
They have a gift shop. a pool, beautiful stone fireplaces inside and outdoor firepits. Don't expect a resort. The yards can be muddy after a rain. A country pizza shop is set into a gas/convenience station a short drive west and the Old Pike Inn Restaurant is west of Lake Yough (jock with y instead of J).\r
