Le Chaperon Rouge

Very clean and organized place, fresh air in the rooms, fresh food cooked right there. A lot of toys and lots of project activities, and friendly employees. I am so excited about this place. more

I can't be any happier knowing that my son is learning French here at Le Chaperon Rouge. Just being exposed to another language at such a young age is amazing to me and something some parents don't have the time or knowledge to teach their children after work or on their downtime. I personally have only grown up knowing English so when I heard that their program teaches French too, I knew this was the right school! more

The Kindergarten program at Le Chaperon is very good! My children have all attended here and all of them loved the program so much. They've even been able retain some of the French language that they learned here. more

Le Chaperon Rouge has been my childcare provider for my daughter since she was two and a half years old. I feel that the staff at Le Chaperon Rouge is doing a great job with all the kids they have. I am impressed at what my daughter has learned from the teachers prior to going to kindergarten. more

I definitely feel comfortable recommending Le Chaperon Rouge to other parents because I find that their learning environment is the best and highly superior to other programs I've seen around. I'm very satisfied with the learning environment that they've created for my two young daughters. more

I have worked for Le Chaperon Rouge for the past six years, and during this time I was the director of the Independence location. In regards to the curriculum, it is created to be used as a guide for the classroom teachers. I have always prided myself in using the curriculum strictly as a guide because it allows all of the teachers to use his/her own creativity and imagination in the classroom. From my experience, I have found that this allows all of the activities to be open-ended enough for all children in the classroom to benefit and successfully complete. Additionally, from my experience I have found that the hardworking, deserving employees did in fact receive raises. Specifically in my position at this center, those teachers that I found were deserving of a raise would receive one upon me bringing it to the owner?s attention. Furthermore, the owner would also observe the teacher?s hard work and immediately grant them a raise. With my experience with the owner, she has always treated me well and has always offered her help, if it?s ever been needed. I have also witnessed her giving nature. She often ?gives back? to her families. More specifically, she has offered her support by giving free services to families, and has helped her employees when they have been in need. She has a big heart, understanding nature, and I have always known her to be a very giving person. more

Not sure what child care the previous poster is talking about but I am a former employee of the Independance location and it is nothing like the previous poster says it is. She must be a really good friend of the owner or she is getting some sort of tuition discount for this review that the OWNER asked her to post! Its bad enough that there are too many kids with one teacher and the teachers have to find their own ways to come up with a decent creative curriculum! Granted they had a curriculum available on site but whoever came up with that joke of a curriculum obviously doesn't have a degree in Early Childhood Education! The staff are treated like crap, we get no raises, and we are lucky to get approved for a personal day off! Oh and God forbid if you have a lot of over time too! This owner is a money hungry witch! She doesn't care about the kids she care about the $$ she brings in from your children! She treats employees like crap and forgets employee's names on top of that! Trust me I quit this place and went to another high quality child care center. Just because the building looks all nice and flashy don't let the looks deceive you! more

I am a parent at Le Chaperon Rouge. My first impression was colorful, exciting and friendly. We visited other centers and this was the most colorful. All the others were dull and grey. I feel the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I think my daughter compared to other kids her age that don't attend here has learned a lot more. Her counting , letter recognition, exposure to different artists, her colors, she speaks French and Spanish. I think the food is healthy, and different every day. Harli's favorite food to eat is the turkey rollups and soup. I would recommend this facility to family and friends. We are very happy here. more
