Good Tex Mex Lunch 3/28/2011

Had lunch here today. Started out with chips and 3 salsa's. 2 were hot and 1 mild and good. Had a cup of tortilla soup and found it very good. Ordered the Tex Mex lunch and it was more than plentifull and right tasty.\r I'll eat lunch there again. more

Very good food 6/26/2010

Today, on a Saturday, we, a group of about 25 senior citizens dropped in for an early lunch. We got there about 11:15, and were promptly seated. Although the restaurant is on the small side, and probably weren't prepared for a group of that size to come in all at once, service was really quite prompt. My wife and I had the shrimp quesadilla, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The shrimp were fresh and cooked perfectly. The whole group was impressed with the quality of the food, and pleased with the service. Pros: very tasty, fresh food more

Seabrook's Best Kept Secret 10/15/2009

As far as the real deal Mexican food goes this place is it. Haven't tried everything on the menu yet but from what i have eaten thus far you can't go wrong here. The place is a bit hard to find but once you do its like finding a treasurer. Can't suggest highly enough. Pros: Quesadillas are UNREAL Cons: Portions are huge, causing me to slllighttly overeat more

Best Homemade Tamales You've Ever Eaten 9/18/2009

The tamales are to die for. They are made fresh by the owner as is everything else they serve. We have been eating at this small family owned restaurant for over twenty-five years and the food is always hot and fresh. I think we have tried everything on the menu and while it has all been delicious my personal favorite is the tamales.\r They are the best I have ever eaten. This restaurant has been in Seabrook for over 40 years. They wouldn't have lasted so long if not for the quality of their food. The tamales take longer to prepare than some of the other items but they are well worth waiting for. You can always have a cold beer or Margarita with your chips and salsa while waiting. They have recently started to serve breakfast which you will also enjoy. The food is worth the trip to Seabrook. Pros: Great food and service more

Yummy! 8/30/2009

What can I say that my husband and I literally stumbled across this great restaurant when we moved down to Seabrook. We were looking for a great breakfast and haven't gone else for another Mexican breakfast. Breakfast is hot and comes out when it is immediately done. There is no sitting under the hot lamps.\r Since Miss Laura is now open for dinner, we of course head there now. The food does not comes out drenched in cheese sauce unlike other restaurants that we have went to and by the way have not went back. I personally , am a vegetarian and Miss Laura makes the best veggie burrito that will fill anyone up.\r Head there and enjoy the love that comes out of the kitchen every single time. Also, when you get your check you will be pleasantly surprised how reasonable it is and want to come back. Pros: Very Clean; Homemade Tortillas; Friendly staff more

Best Mexican Food in Seabrook,TX 8/12/2009

The food is made daily...the green sauce rocks..\r The Margarita's are really good.\r \r This a hole in the wall, but the place is clean it's\r just off of Hwy 146. I like to sit and watch the traffic go by while I'm eating dinner and when I'm finished the traffic is all gone. Pros: Great Food, Prices are Great Cons: Not a fancy place more

I go where the locals go... 8/11/2009

I was advised to stop at this place when asking where to find some great local Mexican food. This place is quaint, but the food is wonderful and I definitely will be coming back. A family-owned restaurant, I was delighted to stumble upon this place. Pros: homemade food, comfy atmosphere, great prices more
