LCLC is the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing. It looks so nice and clean on the outside, but it is rotten to the core. Like the hotel California, you can JOIN, but you can never leave! Beware of this place. The people seem great, think "Stepford Wives." But once you become a member, you are never allowed to leave, or they will dig their hooks into your family and break it apart. North Korea comes to mind in terms of the leaders and their power. This is a really nightmarish place to be-trust me I was stuck there for years and years! They definitely preach a gospel that is the opposite of Jesus. Unfortunately, there are a lot of good hearted people there trapped and brainwashed by very subtle mind control techniques. Pray for the people to be released from bondage. There is a dark spirit there that masquerades as light. #bondage/slavery/abuse/shunning more

I am sure you remember me...once I questioned all the control and biblical misinterpretations..you didn't advance me in your private organization even after your self proclaimed Apostle (really) heard from God that I would be in the "inner circle"...you all are totally crazy...I truly feel sorry for you weak followers and weak pitiful leaders to lead people down your manipulative path...you should truly know your manipulative behavior...WOW...lost my family because of your CONTROL...after reviewing most of your followers are misfits looking for some attention and crazy direction in their lives....Adam or Audra if you ever see the light...please seek me out..I am not the monster your pastors made me out to be...Jesus loves ALL ????? more

Cult 9/23/2020

When parents can disown their children, refuse to see their grandchildren and great-grand children. and justify this behavior as a way to bring their children back to God, you know the theology undergirding this madness has nothing to do with God. A dreadful cult with a pleasant veneer, that uses shunning to control members and families. Horrible. more

Something that i really don't get from other denomations.I really didn't feel that i was in a Cult atmosphere. Great Photos, Great people to work with.If the negative remarks are true? Why could any Church remain in business in this day or erea? more

The God i praise and worship would never want family's to be torn apart my Lord wants all to be united as heaven will be when i get there! This place is all the devil and should be closed down ! Definitely a destructive cult 11/6/2017

It is evident how much God loves, people, is for marriages and promotes family. It is hard to grasp why this cult breaks up marriages, assails the family and shuns people -- including those who are broken, seeking forgiveness in the name of Jesus. If you come in contact with anyone from this 'organization' -- run. They preach a different Gospel -- Galatians 1: 6-9 more

Life changing! 9/27/2017

I love this church! The people are warm,kind and welcoming. I haven't been to church for almost 30 years because I found the hypocrisy unbearable and frankly, boring. Lakeview is fun, very fulfilling true to the Bible. My husband and I are grateful and blessed to now call Lakeview our church family. more

A life-changing and saving church 10/2/2015

This church has saved me and changed my life for the better. I am so glad I found it. The preaching is true and full of life. The worship service is so wonderful - I can't get enough of it. The pastors and the people of the church as so very loving and giving and caring. You feel like your a part of a big family, not just an institution. Anyone looking for a good local church will not be disappointed in what they find here. May God's blessing rest upon Lakeview Church! more

A life taken 7/30/2014

This cult took away my life. They owned my family and forced them to disown me. At 15 I was convinced that God hated me. Try living with that bad news from the people you were taught had God's ear. Their agenda was pure selfish vanity and power. At the expensive of beautiful lives that could have been. God doesn't teach hate or rejection. Only this "church" does. more

Please do your research before considering this to be your home church. Many unhealthy qualities. I know from personal experience as well as many others who have shared their experiences. Citysearch also has an extensive list of reviews that you could check out on this church. more

Lclc 7/2/2012

I attended here with my family as a child in the late 90's, also went to their school. Intially it seemed great but the facade soon became see through. Pastor james and his family run the church like a family business unopposed. The congregation are basically their servants, and are to do anything they ask without question. When i attended i would say 30-40% of the congregation was related. Since they rarely have new members join the church i am sure that in the not to distant future it will be one really dysfunctional family isolated from everyone else. more
