I can see clearly now...(the rain is gone)...\r wait...the rain's not here yet....and I got my glasses updated. Oh, that's why...haha.\r \r Actually, Dr. Thuy and the good folks here did a great job. I found them on my insurance list (I work for Boeing).\r \r The exam was detailed but efficient, and surprisingly fun. Who knew eye exams could be fun? Another hidden gem in Lake Stevens. more

My son and I have been "regulars" for the past three years. The staff is very friendly and Dr WIndhorst has always been very knowledgeable and gentle with us being very clear about what he is doing during the exams. This past month we had our annual visit and Dr Windhorst was on vacation so we got the joy of being "see" by Dr Thuy Vo. We love her!!!! She has a great personality and had my son giggling and actually enjoying the exam! We love Lake Stevens Vision Clinic. Heep up the good work :) Shelly and Parker Pros: null Cons: null more

Don't take your child here! 3/23/2011

I took my 6 year old daughter to Dr. Windhorst last year because the school nurse said she was in desperate need of glasses. When we got in the exam room Dr. Windhorst told my little girl that he was going to put drops in her eyes that were going to string. She of course freaked out. When I started to try to talk her into doing it, Dr. Windhorst told me I need to be invisible and stop talking. She was very upset and he was not saying anything that was helping to calm her down. Again, I tried to talk to MY child and he asked me to leave the room. I was not about to leave my child alone with this awful man, who had already scared her and been very rude! In the end he could not do a complete eye exam, and just guessed at what she needed for a prescription. She started to really struggle this year in school, due to the fact she can't see, even with her glasses. The worst part of the whole thing is that when I called my insurance company to get a list of other eye doctors to take her to, they told me she is only allowed one eye exam a year. Now my child is stuck with glasses that don't work and a fear of the eye doctor that she won't forget. more
