Disgusting! Wost Pizza I've ever had! 9/19/2010

What they serve doesn't deserve to be called pizza. It's a tasteless wedge of dough and crust. And at $3 a slice, they can stick it up their oven. Absolutely the worst pizza I ever had. Whomever reviewed this place as having good pizza is out of their brain. The cheese has no flavor, and the sauce? what sauce!? A splattering of I don't know what they call it but it's disgusting. The pizza dough is over cooked, and the crust was made to cut the roof of your mouth. If you think wow, how can it be that bad, it's pizza! Trust me, it's that bad. I don't know how anyone could say their pizza is good, when it's not even alright. As far as decor and ambiance, it's just a hole in the wall, A small place nothing significant. To the reviewer who wrote this place was the best Italian in NY. Where the hell have you been eating? I'm Italian and I can tell you the only thing Italian about it is it's name. And seriously the name? La Parmigiana? "" The Parmesan"" in English, It's just silly. more

Best Italian Anywhere In New York (Period!). 12/26/2008

Delectable, succulent, and magnificent are three words that don't even come close to describing the artistry of food prepared by the family owned restaurant that has treated my pallet to years of exquisite belt increasing plates. Hidden just off Hampton Road in Southampton, La Parmigiana (La Parm - as it is called by the locals) is the closest experience you will get to having a home cooked meal with the freshest ingredients and the most crisp bites your mouth has ever sunk its teeth in. Your tongue will sing and your belly will dance thanks to the family who has bedazzled the Southampton community for over 15 years bringing its Patriarch owner direct from Italy to the comforts of Southampton. Whether you are seeking a light lunch or a full course dinner La Parm will send you home smiling and with a few bucks left in your pocket. It's Southampton dining with out the Southampton prices. After dinner you can take a walk through the deli area where La Parm has brilliantly marketed and placed some of the tastes of the restaurant for sale including the salad dressing which I prefer to dunk the fresh bread into. La Parm is my number one choice for Italian anywhere in New York and won me over the first time I ever visited it my freshman year at Southampton College. Anyone who thinks less of La Parm isn't worthy of its meals and should forget fine dining all together. Pros: Food, Unique Taste, Menu Options, Portions, Price, and Freshness Cons: Restaurant Size and Wait Times. more

BEST ITALIAN FOOD ON LONG ISLAND! 8/10/2007

The title says it all! I love this place been here a ton of times and I will keep coming back! Im an Italian from Brooklyn and I know Italian food! This is Great Italian Food! I think the prices are good, not expensive at all. The pasta is cooked perfect, the sauce is great. I even tried their meatballs, ( A true Italian never orders meatballs in a restaurant), but they were good! The orders are huge! expect to have leftovers for a week! However it is a small place and you may wait a while for a table, its worth the wait. No bar just wine and beer. The staff is smart and the service is prompt. I really have nothing negative to say about this place. Just don't tell all your friends about it otherwise I'll never get a table there! Pros: Once your seated service is great and the food is amazing! Cons: Theres no bar! more

Southampton Village's Best Italian Food! 5/6/2006

I've been going to La Parmigiana since 1995 and have loved it ever since! It gets busy and it's a little bit cramped, but adding the patio was definitely a great idea. The food is great, especially the lasagna -- highly recommended! Pros: Great food, Public parking lot Cons: Crowded, No reservations more

One of the only two pizza places in Southampton 5/27/2005

The food is good but a bit over priced. The service can be a bit rude. Food seems to take for ever so you have good company to talk with. Over all it is O.K. What really annoys me though is the lack of Calzones. If you're the mood for the same old Italian food it is an option. Pros: Location, Salads are great, Great Mussles Cons: Service Snotty, Prices are high-ish, Often crowed more

This is a good place to eat 2/19/2004

There is a reason why the famous people have been spotted eating here, lets face it there aren't many great eateries out on the east end (unless your willing to sacrifice a paycheck towards dinner). La Parmigiana is very good and worth the money, its right in the heart of the town of southampton, so go and enjoy! Pros: Food, Right in the town Cons: , Gets big crowds, parking more
