It's hard to find a good restaurant in Vista, considering how there's mostly fast food here. I decided to give La Paloma a try. \r

The chips taste like they came from the grocery store. Their menu is kinda weird, with ostrich and antelope game dishes, and a lot of Cuban style dishes with fruit and creme sauce. I just wanted traditional Mexican, and got the chimichanga. The portions are quite small for the price, and with a very heavy deep-fried taste. To be honest, i prefer El Torito, better portions, better chips, priced lower too.\r

If you want something weird like gamey dishes, then La Paloma is your place. If you just want traditional Mexican, go somewhere else. Again, Vista is real limited on nice restaurants, so you'll probably have to go to Oceanside to get something decent.
Pros: attentive waiters
Cons: cost, taste, chips
