L'Avantage Salon - Alden Bridge

I must join my fellow reviewers and commend L'avantage Salon for their services. I was booked for a facial and had to reschedule a couple of times as I lived in downtown Houston at the time. They were consistently friendly and cooperative. When entering the salon I was greeted by friendly and unpretencious staff, a warm atmosphere and was offered something to drink. The waiting area was small but pleasant and intimate. The clientel ranged in age from older professional to high school graduates. The facialist picked me up promptly, the room was tidy, and functional, nicely lit and well equipped. The robe I slipped into was comfy and the facialist was throughout the treatment very attentive and informative yet not too chatty. She cleaned my face thoroughly and I could tell I got a facial days after treatment, as it should be when skilled hands and professional products are paired. Overall a very pleasant experience. I recently went in for a consulation to with Carol after experiencing a horrible haircut at another salon in Houston. She was very nice and took a lot of time with me. My one let down was the cost and lack of attention to their guest. I also had a make-up application with Julie, I'm getting married in a week and needed a few ideas, but the big suprise was the application cost $90! That's a bit crazy if you ask me. She was very nice, but their prices here are a little over the top for me. My bill at the end of the day, including product, cost $245..ummm...I think I'll have to be looking else where. I recieved the best experience at Lavantage, from the moment I made the appointment to my goodbye at the checkout station! I had a picture for my Cut EXACTLY what I wanted! My brow wax was the best ever, she was gentle and I never had a shape like that before! She knew just what to do. I when to L'avantage a month ago. It was the best experience ever!! My highlights were great, totally natural looking. I got red in my hair normally my red fades fast. It still looks as great as when I first went. I also got my hair cut I told her what I wanted, It was cut exactly as I wanted.
