Kusina Philipino Cuisine

I am not really a fan of filipino food. But my friend brought me here for lunch one day to try. I have to say that I absolutely fell in love with the food. My friend ordered Sari Sari, Bistek, Shanghai, Squid Adobo, and Garlic Fried Rice. Everything was so good. The best part is it's fresh. All other filipino places I go to the food is already prepared and it tastes old (that could be why I'm not a big fan). But I think Kusina changed the way I look at filipino food. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have a filipino channel on and anyone can sing Karaoke. The impressing thing is it's clean and I like that. It's hard to find parking though. I have been to pretty much all the Filipino restaurants on the island, Maxs of Manila, Thelmas, Elenas, Kusina Maharlika, Mabuhays, Bautista and they all can not beat the food at Kusina. Not too many people eat there but I think it is a great place to eat. The food is fresh and hot and the prices are reasonable. Most of all, they are the cleanest Filipino restaurant and what's great is they have TFC on everyday. I really like the place and the food. The customer service is great also, the owners are these two guys and they are always funny. I am suggesting everyone to eat there. Pros: Best fresh filipino food and environment, IT'S CLEAN! JUNE 2009 - we have been going to Kusina for over a year and have noticed AFTER the new owners took over it was NOT the same..... we received BAD SERVICE AND BAD SARCASTIC ATTITUDES from a female employee. Once when we dined-in (she gave us bad looks for asking for extra napkins and more water-in our empty cups - we were aready chewing the ice) and the second with a coupon issue. There is a coupon online that did not state it was for dine-in only (and we wanted to use it for a take out order that was already placed) Female basically said with a sarcastic tone of voice- ""uhhhh - you have to show proof that you have a coupon"" (How would I know there was one in the first place?!?!?!?! it initially was not a big deal - coupon only 15% off- BUT her attitude just made the situation worse). When I asked for a manager he did not bother to answer the phone - he just listened to her side of the story (told with an attitude) and she came back on the phone and said ""sorry no coupon no discount"" - Pros: Pros:a lot of room to sit because not many people dine there Cons: Cons: better service with the original owners more
