Dr. Shaikh is a great dentist. I have seen the reviews previously posted about the office, and I have to say that I have never felt this way. He is kind, caring, and very gentle. He also gives you all of your options and has great chair-side manner. I definitely recommend Dr. Shaikh. more

I got my appointment next day.\r Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly in helping my registration.\r Dr.fouad personally greeted and took me inside.\r She examined and educated me about my problems.Her communication and treatment afterwards were excellent.I would rate her the best and recommaned her to all my friends.\r Leslie more

I was referred to this office by my insurance company, as the closest office that accepts my dental insurance. I was treated rudely by the front desk staff each time I was in for a replacement crown, then when the crown was ready, they broke it while putting it in my mouth. It had t be completely redone. While I was in the chair, the dentist asked me if I wanted Botox, as apparently, they do that as well. I really feel as if I was overcharged, and when I called about the insurance payment, the woman was so rude to me; I hung up and never called back. I will not be going back to this office, and would not recommend them to anyone. more

If i could give them less stars i would. Worst dental office EVER. I have used this office several times but i refuse to go back because of the office manager Erin. She is a witch with a capital B. She is beyond disrespectul and rude and not just to the patients. I have seen first hand just how demeening she is just to her co-workers. I feel bad for them and i have no clue why or how they put up with her unprofessional manorism. She is the sole reason i will never return and will continue to tell everyone about the negative experiences i have experienced and witnesses. I hope they replace her soon, then i may consider coming back. Untill then, i suggest everyone stay away. They do have nice assistants as well as a nice hygenist. more

I went in for the first time to this practice for a cleaning and they told me I needed a $200 scaling. We had just moved into the area. I immediately went to a highly rated dentist instead and they said my teeth and gums were EXCELLENT! This place is only out to rip people off. It has been over a year and I have had no problems with my teeth thanks to my sixth sense about this practice. more

I've been going there for about 5 years and I've never had the same Dental Hygentist twice. I say Fast Food Dentistry because it really is about how many bottoms they can get in the chair and not about personal care. There is at least 20 chairs in the office. The up front desk is not professional and when you walk in or check out they act as if you are disturbing them. Can't tell you how many times I've heard them talking out loud about interoffice politics- complaining about co-workers in front of patients. I've had poor work done and never a constant Dentist. Turnover is a big issue at this office and that is a big red flag. Oh, and they are now offering facial/lip injections for all of you who want a little cosmetic work done... more

Disappointed with my visits in last 2 years. I only went to this clinic for convenience purpose but I finally left and will never return. They always mess up your bills if you had a filling or crown service. Receptionists treat patients very mean and rudely. \r more

I absolutely love your office and your staff! Especially Erin. For the first time ever, i had to have a root canal and was scared to death. It was a piece of cake! What a pleasure it is to be cared for by your friendly and compassionate staff. The front office is so friendly too! In addition, they all look happy to work there and look like they all get along beautifully. What a pleasure to not feel like I've annoyed someone when I give them by business. It means ALOT to me that everyone smiles and says hi when they walk by me waiting.I should mention that too.... I don/t really have to ""wait"", Other than my behing sitting in the chair for 5 min, that is . Keep up the great work guys! :-) <3 more

The only reason I haven't given AD 5 stars is because of the front desk. BUT, it's not EVERYONE at the front desk. Really it's just the blonde haired lady who sucks. \r \r I have been to other dentists that did work and when the work needed to be touched-up, I was upcharged and recharged. I paid for a bridge at AD and I didn't like the fit (lab's fault, not the dentist's). My doctor and the assistant didn't make me feel like a peasant when I asked to send it back. \r \r If you want a dentist you can actually make a plan of action with and who will treat you like a person, go see Dr. Fouad. I can't really comment on the other docs but Dr. Fouad is great. more

Went there for 5 years. Never once did they get the bill right even when I told them they were overcharging what my copay was. Waiting a year and a half now to get refunded the overpayments and they have the nerve to now say we owe them. Poor quality of dentists. Had a crown put on and my new dentist said it needs to be re-done 18 months later. Based on the fit, it was just poor quality work. more

The office staff was very pleasant & productive. I felt very comfortable. Both the dentist and dental assistant were accommodating, very gentle and helpful throughout the process. They were thorough in educating me about the procedure they were doing. Overhead video was very impressive and informative. I would recommend this office to everyone. more

This is by far the rudest place I have ever been to. The office manager Erin Gill is by far the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever met. Their new claim to fame is that they were voted best dentist of the year. Anyone who knows anything about that knows that you can stuff the ballot box yourself. Which is what they most certainly did given thier unprofessional and horrible reputation around doylestown as the worst dentist in town. THere front desk belongs somewhere in Philadelpia. They are unhelful, rude unprofessional. I even witness on one visit the office manager drying her hair at the front desk.. Stay away. There are tons of great dentists in Doylestown none of them work here... The front desk is a bunch of bullies! more

I haven't been to the dentist in years, but visiting this office has reminded me of how mush of a good time I can have at the dentist. I was seen quickly, and the hygienist was friendly and professional. The office was wonderful and the staff was phenomenal. I would recommend this office to everyone. more

I moved from Connecticut to Doylestown last year. Let me tell you, finding a new dentist was tough especially with a six year old. My son has always had a problem at the dentist, but choosing American Dental Care was a great decision. We were treated so nicely by the front desk and there was barely a wait time. The doctor and his assistant kept my son entertained during the whole visit. The doctor was very good and knowledgeable and my son had no problems. Overall, the visit went smoothly and I had no payment problems either. I highly recommend American Dental Care to anyone who wants quality dental care! more

I personally disagree with the past reviews. I am a 32 year old male and I admit that I am usually very anxious when I go to the dentist, but the friendly environment at American Dental Care kept me comfortable and eased my anxieties.I was greeted with a smile by the staff and they were very nice. The doctor was phenomenal. He was so gentle and he explained everything that he was doing, so I felt comfortable. I was horrified when I learned that I had two cavities, but the doctor was great. Everything went smoothly and it barely hurt. Of all the other dentist I've been to, I don't remember the last time I had a such a good time at the dentist than at American Dental Care. I recommended this dental office to my friend who needed an implant, and he came back very pleased with the results and was just as happy with the office as I was. The front desk manager is miserable and it all flows downhill to her subordinant staff. One front desk clerk scolded a hygenist right in front of me which embarrased me and the hygenist. The hygenist was just trying to be helpful to me. \r They do not give out pain medication and honestly dental work hurts badly! \r When scheduling appointments they scheduled 4 appointments which in reality could have taken 1 appointment to accomplish. The hygenist told me that. They don't have evening appointments which makes it very difficult to get an appointment because of work.\r When my daughter was 10 they refused to let me go back with her to the dentist chair claiming patient confidentiality. I said she's 10 and I'm not letting any of you alone with her. After a quit public argument the front desk manager allowed me to go back with my daughter. \r My dental insurance says they will pay 100% of a procedure and the office staff says I have to pay what THEY think the insurance won't pay (even tho my insurance said 100%) then when the insurance pays them they will reimburse me. Are they a bank? Making interest off my money?\r These office staff are Front Desk Clerks...what makes them think it's ok to treat people badly? I agree the staff is definitely rude and miserable looking. They should try to show a bright smile at a dentist office to patients. Pros: New clean office Cons: office staff and cost more

I am a single parent with no dental insurance. ... They tried to ripp me off by paying extra money to get a bone graph that was not needed. The doctor was NOT gentle at all,and they didn't perscribe any pain killers... The only good thing is they gave me a 10% discount Pros: Clean office Cons: Cost more
